OVERVIEW

Pairs a Sitka top with beautiful solid African mahogany body for a well-balanced tone and sharp looks.

With its comfortable body and distinctive voice, the M-140 provides excellent balance and a delicate tone. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, the M-140' 24-¾ scale length and 1-¾ nut width on a vintage shaped Guild neck make this concert size guitar easy to play.

The M-140 features an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, NuBone nut and saddle, mother-of-pearl rosette, and period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard. This model also showcases Guild' iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s Guilds, and includes Guild' new lightweight polyfoam case. Available in Natural gloss finish.

Comments about Guild M-140 Acoustic Guitar:

I am enjoying my new Guild guitar, the Westerly collection M-140. Ever since I picked it up, it has been a joy to play. I have not seen a need for any adjustments at all as it came with a great set up. I even like the strings (D'Addario EXP16's) that came on the guitar so much that I will be trying them on my other guitars. For a small body guitar, it has a big sound and a wonderful, balanced tone. It is an excellent guitar for fingerstyle country blues as it projects well and is very comfortable play. And I have played it a lot since purchase, sometimes for hours upon hours at a time! This is the first Guild I've owned and I won't get into comparing it to the other guitars I own, but I can tell that this guitar will likely be my workhorse going forward and I certainly will be giving more attention to the Guild brand in the future.
