I don't own this guitar. But a good friend of mine does, and I've used it on a number of occasions. I'm really surprised its not more popular. Anyways, I'd describe this guitar with one word, "woody". If you know Guild, you know exactly what I mean when I say that. Its got such a beautiful even tone to it, its a contender for the best value in acoustics. My friends is getting a bit old in age as well, going on a decade soon I believe, but its held up like a trooper. This guitar is a very good martin substitute. Its simply a great guitar. And I believe that these are still made in America. That's a feat at this price. If you want that amazing articulate and deep (but not muddy) tone, this NEEDS to be on your list.
