Comments about Hagstrom Dalarna Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar:
I am not a (competent) guitar player, so I was just looking for a mid-range starter. I play upright bass in a few different acoustic groups, and am exposed to various "quality guitars" - Martin, Taylor, Gibson, etc. I wouldn't neccassarily put this at that level, but it isn't far off. Out of the box the set-up is good, the neck relief needs to be tweaked just slightly. You don't have to get too close to the bridge to be able to cut through when needed. The normal playing position produces a warm booming tone. I love the looks - headstock, inlays, quality tone woods.
I'd like to think that I had seen the guitar on the right day, because the sale was unbelievable!
