Born to be played, not hung on a wall.
While the Artist HB is a sparkling example of what a handcrafted semi-hollowbody should be, it is no collector's piece. It begs to be played. The finest Honduran mahogany is used for its neck and body along with an arched, bookmatched chevron mahogany top with f-hole. Mother-of-pearl dot inlays dress up an already beautiful rosewood fingerboard. The final touch? Smooth Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers.

I am an American that lived in Europe for 15 years but saw this in Guitar Player circa 1998 and bought it off the page as I thought it was beautiful. I have a q968 Les Paul and a 1963 Strat. This is comparable.
This is the story - I got a more than great buy on my Vintage Korina colored guitar - All USA HAMER guitars are all basically custom shop built - they are individually hand built and come w/ a certificate of authenticity personally signed (not stamped) by the VP & General Manager and the Technical Director of Hamer USA. It sounds great and is very versatile. The Seymour Duncan 59 pickups can be bluesy but also agressive - best of both worlds. It's very lightweight and thin & comfortable. It's like having a Les Paul w/ out needing shoulder surgery after playing.
