In the last two decades, no other guitar maker besides Ibanez has done so much to advance the art and science of the tremolo. The Edge-PRO represents the next phase in locking tremolos. The Edge-PRO features a unique Sound Metal Chip on each saddle which helps increase sustain right at the most critical area, the intonation point. To avoid the problem of string holder blocks getting lost during string changes, the Edge-PRO's sliding string holders are actually part of the bridge and won't drop from the saddle unit. With the Edge-PRO design, there's no need to cut off the ball end of your strings when installing new strings.
When Ibanez says the RG Prestige 10th Anniversary Limited Editions are limited...they mean it! These guitars will blow you away with their world famous thin, fast necks, and hard-edged tones. Best of all, they are 100% quality crafted in Japan by award winning Ibanez guitar makers with over 100 combined years of expert guitar building experience. This run is limited to 120 pieces.

I just bought this to add to my jems and PGM Ibanez guitars. Pictures do not do this guitar justice,,,the finish is AMAZING. I bought the black haze burst, and I'm blown away. Ibanez necks are out of this world. I am replacing the tuners with Gotohs,,,like on my other Ibanez guitars, and I will replace the pickups eventually with Dimarzios, too. Also, I had to buy a M100C case for it,,,,it didn't even come with the gig bag as promised. But one look at this thing and the feel of the neck....that was it. Just like all my other Ibanez Prestige guitars,,,,basically plays itself.
I finally found an axe that destroys my rg 1527. Ive tried a lot of different guitars and brands such as Jackson, ESP, Schecter, Dean, Gibson, Fender, and even other ibanez guitars (prestige). When I saw this in a local guitar store (for $699 new) I had to try it. The first thing I noticed was how light it was. I thought it must not have good tone being so light. When I plugged it in I was blown away. Despite its weight this thing puts out some massive tone. I really like the stock ceramic pickups as well. I bought this immediately after playing it and I can homestly say ive neve bought a guitar that quickly before. For the price it was a steal. The fretboard is super thin; thinner than my RG1570 and the maple top looks amazing (especially the red one). I would highly recommend this guitar for any serious shredders out here.
