Played this guitar, and fell in love immediately. The neck is nice and wide, easy to play, finish and workmanship is nice for Korean made guitar. Changed to pups to Duncan 59 and Jazz in neck and bridge, respectively. Is now a LP killer. Seriously. Saved me about 600 bucks, and have a great guitar that is one of my favorites.
This guitar rocks fot the money. Been playing 52yrs and would not trade this for any other.
I won't lie to anyone. A lot of people compared this to a Gibson Les Paul but I think the SZ model in general is way better by a long shot. Has great sustain, good tonality, perfect scale length (imo) and is just plain phenominal style. I've been using the SZ model since they came out and haven't strayed from them once. I have 2 SZ320's and three SZ520's. If you have a chance to try one definitely do it up.
I just bought this guitar and I was blown away. I'm a long time fan of Ibanez guitars and was used to playing an older SC420. This guitar is similar in looks except it is thicker and heavier. It is a beautiful guitar that rocks hard. A great axe for the money.
I just picked up one of these at a local shop. The guitar has nice tone and a comfortable feel. The action from the factory is a little too high for my tastes, and one of the knobs is a little of center and catches about midway. But it's pretty much what you'd expect for the money. Once I take it to my tech and get it set up it'll probably be my main guitar.
This guitar, first off, has the best sustain out of mahogany axes. Dual Seymour-Duncan humbuckers let it squeal out full tones. I have, myself found no major defects with it: the output jack comes loose once in a while. You can plug this into any amp and make it sound good. The action is fantastic: comparable to an LP. Best buy for the $, I will definitely have this one with me forever. Even though you can't see too well the inlays, the dots on the side help dramatically. The SZ320 is a definite keeper!
If your a metal player, than this is definitly the guitar for you! Its pretty versitial. I play covers anywhere from of Breaking Benjamin to Atreyu songs and this guitar definitly delivers. I own a les paul which I play a lot of punk and alternative on, but this is definitly my favorite guitar
I bought this guitar at a closing music store, at an even lower price. It is a great guitar! The action is perfect, and it sounds great, when you plug it in. This is the perfect guitar, whether you are just gettin started, or you want to step it up a notch. It is perfect for any type of music. BUY IT!!!!!
I picked one of these, used, at a local music store for about half price. I had just joined a group that had gigs coming up and was in need of a guitar. I wasn't expecting much from this axe but was pleasantly surprised at what I got! Plays nice, sounds good, STAYS IN TUNE (very important at gigs). It doesn't have the "wow factor" that a Fender,Gibson,Epiphone, etc. might have, but it's a good guitar for a good price.
I was just blown away buy this gold top guitar I found at my local guitar shop.I stared at it for about 5mins before I decided to play it. Afterwards I knew I had to have it. I had been saving for a les Paul, and when I closed my eyes, I had it in my hand. I bought the sz320, and a cube 30 amp. Just a smoking guitar right out of the box. And I still had money left over. I had been searching for a new guitar for about 5 years.I already own a Ibanez rt450.My hat is off to the guys at Ibanez, they definitly are a tough act to follow.Get one, and smile forever.
