Highly reccomended. This is my new favorite guitar!
So i pulled the trigger on this purchase spontaneously. I was at the music shop looking at some Takamines and then I got home, saw this guitar online and was instantly attracted to it. So I order it, without ever having played it. While waiting I read some mixed reviews. Some people love it, some hate it....I am extremely impressed with this guitar. The finish and wood grains on this guitar are absolutely stunning! I got the vintage violin and she is a looker. Plugged in this guitar sounds fantastic, very full and organic sounding. Unplugged it is a little quiet, which is to be expected of a thin bodied acoustic, but I solved this problem! I put a Planet Waves O-Port in this guitar and what a difference!!! With the O-Port this guitar is now loud, rich and beautiful sounding unplugged, and plugged in it even sounds clearer and warmer with the O-Port installed.....Paired with the O-Port this guitar is phenomenal for the price. Plus the on board tuner is fantastic, i wish all of my guitars had one. And to top it all of it came from the factory with a pretty good setup (just a minor adjustment of the truss rod was needed for some low E string buzz), and D'Darrio EXP strings! I cant express how much I love this guitar and paired with the O-Port its a major win in my book. Give this a guitar a second look, you wont be dissapointed. (Oh and its has an XLR input on it so you can run right into a PA system....awesome awesome awesome!!).....Did I mention I really like this guitar?
Built like a tank, very solid. The Finish is GORGEOUS! Amazing Flame to the top, and the rainbow abalone rossete is beautiful.
Great for the money! Especially when paired with a Plant Waves O-Port.

Definitely a beautiful guitar to look at. Sounds great plugged in with the Fishman pickups. Not a very full sound acoustically, but it is an electric afterall. The problem I encountered with mine is that something inside the body of mine resonates and buzzes at the same frequency as my D string. I think its the chords on the pickup vibrating off the wood. I tried adjusting the neck as well as the action, but it still persists. Just a manufacturing flaw I'm sure, but annoying none the less. Just OK

Great guitar for price... looks like it went up. Still worth buying. Best when plugged in, but sounds pretty good otherwise. Light strings are best. Great for pick or fingers. Tough to find a high quality case for this guitar, but found a Gator that is perfect. Durable guitar, great quality for price point. High quality components too. Will have this guitar forever.

Compared a bunch of acoustic/electric cutaway guitars in this price range online (Yamaha, Epiphone, other Ibanez), but when I went and played it in store this was the obvious choice. Some others may have better tone unplugged (although it's still decent, but less oomph than a bigger guitar), but once plugged in this is a beauty. You actually have a pretty wide tonal range open to you, though I pretty much leave mine about mid, but with a bit more bass.
This is also by far one of the easiest guitars to play. I'm a intermediate guitarist, and haven't played on a lot of truly great guitars, but when I picked this up the store it was noticeably easier than others at this price.

I went with the transparent red sunburst finish. Simply love it!! More beautiful than the online photos. It plays and sounds great for a thin body guitar. I tuned it up straight out of the box over a month ago and it has held up to daily playing without falling out of tune. I was very surprised at the crisp, warm tone I could get from plugging it up to an amp or a powered mixer. Best investment I ever made on an acoustic-electric guitar. I purchased an Ibanez hardshell case for mine. It fits very snug and secure too.

I got this guitar for xmas and indtamtly fell in love with it.I own 2 other acoustics and 2 electrics.I cannot put this one down.It is just fun to play and has great tone unplugged or plugged in.A major bonus is alos the onboard tuner.

Beautiful!! I love this guitar! I've had it for almost a year and I play it everyday. It looks just outstanding sitting next to my Jackson Warrior and Line 6! Best acoustic I've EVER owned! I play everything on that beauty! Whether it's Country, Bluegrass, Heavy Metal or Power Metal, it sounds wonderful! I would buy it again! If your gonna buy an acoustic, I suggest this Ibanez! You won't be regret it! Trust me!

I love everything about this guitar! I have had mine since last Christmas and it was my first guitar purchase! I have to say, I have played quite a few of my friends guitars and I absolutely love everything about mine better! The sound is great, granted it is a little quite it's still got it's own sound!
The only downside I have found is with it staying in tune but I do Capo quite frequently! All-in-all I would recommend this guitar to anyone! Had it for almost a year, never had a problem and love everything about it!

I was looking for that crispy/boxy tone of a Selmer Django-style box in an inexpensive acoustic-electric. Plugged in, I've been able to approach the sound I'm looking for. The flame sycamore topwood & mahogany ribs & back are quite good looking. The neck has a good shape & the guitar intonates well & plays well. Fishman p-up & pre-amp are pretty good. A bargain at the price. Plus, I can play it 'round the campfire without worrying about damaging a costly instrument. So far, I am pleased.
Everything a person might need in an inexpensive guitar. A good tuner, pickup, preamp. The inlays/bindings are top-notch. Good machine heads. It's beautiful!
Pretty good for a plywood model. Some minor cosmetic issues. Nice neck, good intonation. Seems solid. Only had two weeks and so far, satisfied.
For the price, this guitar fills the bill. (See next).

I like the looks, however the sound unplugged is very "tinny" and sounds like a toy. Plugged in, and the sound becomes full and has great tone. Overall it is an "ok" guitar with mediocre playability.
Ok, when looking at this guitar it looks beautiful. The gold tuners, flamed top, abalone around the soundhole. Altogether it's great! The electronics are the best part of this guitar because it allows the guitar to have great tones. I will say the electronics allow great modeling, and the tones are superb.
The quality of this guitar is a 6 because of the cheap feel of the electronics, my battery pack clip broke, and now I have to wedge a piece of paper in it to keep it closed. In order to fix it, you have to buy a piece that is worth as 1/2 the value of the guitar NOT WORTH IT. Personally I am thinking about selling it, because I don't enjoy myself when I play it. Those who are looking to Ibanez for a guitar, their electrics are MUCH better!
