Solid-top Artwood with standout cosmetics and electronics at an unbelievable price.
If you've played or even just listened to many acoustic guitars, you know the amazing difference a solid top makes. The AJ30ECEHS ARTWOOD SERIES Acoustic-Electric Guitar features a solid top made of Englemann spruce. You'll hear warm lows and ringing highs in crisp detail, the way an acoustic is supposed to sound. The dreadnought body style is particularly well suited to making yourself heard in a group. The cutaway allows easy access to the entire fretboard.
For faithful reproduction of acoustic tone, a Fishman Sonicore pickup is paired with the Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter preamp with an onboard tuner. Tune anytime, anywhere. You're also ready for whatever connection is available. The AJ30ECEHS has balanced 1/4" and XLR outputs.
Mahogany back and sides, maple body and neck binding, and gold die-cast tuners with brown pearloid knobs are features you normally find on guitars costing far more. If you've been holding back on an acoustic guitar purchase because you haven't found the right features at the right price, your wait is over.

I ordered this guitar to upgrade a Montana I use as a Knock around. As I hoped the AJ body was beautiful and the sound was much better than the smaller Montana, but then I started to play and found a number of problems. The included 2 dead frets on the lower bass end. Even though I expected to have to make adjustments in setup, the bridge at the nut was so high that a bar F was nearly impossible. It would have to be removed and lowered. Also there was a strong rattle when the open G string was played strongly. I also found a page of Chinese newspaper glued to the inside of the body that interfered with the pickups. I feel the product should have been inspected before shipment and I sent it back. Very dissapointed.
I just recieved the guitar today, i had to get used to the body size, i play a dred or a folk style in the past, and always wanted a jumbo, its awesome tone and sustain is killer plugged in or not, i was not sure the tuner would be as good as my pedel but it is right on, the picture does not even resemble how beautiful the burnt orange looks. the neck is sweet like a big Gibson jumbo and for the money its a steal.
I just received this guitar and it looks better than it did in the ad picture. This guitar has a neck that plays like my Les Paul, with a slightly narrow taper at the end. This guitar unplugged has great volume and projection as it should (solid maple back and sides make the difference). This guitar was ready to go right out of the box. the factory set up was as good as i would have done myself. The price point of this guitar make it even sweeter. It's a hard guitar to beat.
