- Was this a gift?:
I've owned this guitar for about 8 months now. I played it for the first few months and was not very pleased with the sound, so I started messing with another of my acoustics more. I had an odd idea to try some new strings on it and...WOW huge difference my guitar went from dull to bright instantly. I put some Martin M140 lights .11 on it and just sounds amazing!
I purchased this acoustic a couple weeks ago and am happy with it. its a beautiful guitar. I looked at all three colors in person, the first guitar was set up perfect, the second had a little buzzing and the strings were a lil high off the frets, the third one I picked up, was set up horrible though, strings were a mile off the fretboard and it buzzed on almost every fret. I actually had to do some neck work on the one I bought because the strings were just too high for me, then I realized that the guitar had a short in it, so I also had to fix that. Other than ALL of that, I am actually happy with it, plays nice, looks amazing.
This is the first guitar I have owned and so far I am very please with my decision to purchase the Ambiance A300. The on-board tuner is really nice. Appearance is amazing. I have the vintage violin and it is a beauty. I listed the quality as a 4 because it is a laminate guitar. Overall a great beginner guitar with amazing sound!
