The woods are great. Awesome Tone. Mahogany and Maple is the best combination. Active Humbuckers, toggle switch that doesn't wear out. The bridge and tuners are great. But the frets are horrible. They wear down within 6 months and then it's dead spots everywhere. But that's what happens when you don't have jumbo frets. Better investment to buy a epi les paul than this the frets will last longer they're jumbos.
Ive been playing guitar for a little over a year now, and i play this guitar for 3-4hours a day. It can handle anything you through at it, i can get really good jazz tone, next to heavy distorted tone, to a nice punchy blues. ive plugged this guitar in to many different amps and it sounds good through most of them. i am simply amazed by the versatility the art320 offers. im in my school jazz band and this guitar handles live performances like a champ. Ibanez did a fantastic job designing this product and i can assure you that you not go wrong buying this.
Purchased this at a local shop and I have to say, this is one sweet axe! Fit and finish are superb, action is low without buzzing and the active electronics are phenomenal! It's not as good as my Les Paul's, but then again, it's not a $3000 guitar either, so I can actually PLAY this one! Buy this guitar, you will not be disappointed.
I played this guitar at a friend's house through a peavey amp. I was quite amazed at the quality of this instrument for the price. The neck is fast and it is cosmetically beautiful. The blue flametop is gorgeous. I found this guitar to be very comfortable to play. Apart from it looking and feeling amazing, I was very impressed by its tonal capabilities. I was able to get great bluesy rock tones and hardcore metal along with everything in between. I think that any guitarist who wants a versatile, quality guitar, but doesn't have the chips to go get a gibson; this is a great guitar.
