Premium looks with powerful sonics.

The Artcore AG75 has a large full hollowbody that is truly full-hollow. Unlike many so-called "full acoustics" which feature soundblocks in the body, the AG75 gives you the rich, complex tones you can only get from a true, full-hollow guitar. The mahogany neck with bound rosewood fretboard plays fast and easy. An ACH1 neck humbucker and ACH2 at the bridge dish up plenty of midrange punch.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

Features

  • Full hollowbody construction
  • Maple top, sides, and back
  • Mahogany neck
  • Bound rosewood fretboard
  • ACH1 humbucker at the neck

When you get your hands on this thing, it'll inspire you to practice harder than ever before. Order it today and get great!

First of I want to address some of the bad reviews this guitar has been given. If you are getting feed back stop treating this guitar like a Les Paul. It is not. This guitar is a Jazz guitar, yes you can use it for some styles of rock and blues but the hollow body will give feed back when played at high levels with lots of distortion. This guitar is not designed for that kind of playing. Second is the bridge, there are some comments on here about the bridge moving. That is the point to this guitar, it is an arch top hollow body guitar with a floating bridge. I wish people would learn more about instruments before they start bashing them.

This guitar is made in China and as such carries a price a fraction of the cost of a Gibson. If you are like me and want wonderful playing guitars but can't spend 10's of thousands obtaining different styles of guitars made by the two big American makers then buy Ibanez. This is a quality guitar. I own 2 vintage Ibanez guitars both made in Japan and 3 modern ones made in other plants in Asia I love these guitars. When some other player rolls his eyes because I don't have a Gibson or Fender I just laugh and ask him how much debt he has because I own a lot of guitar and don't ow any debt on them.

On last comment, if you don't know a guitar tech on first name bases you should. Most guitars need a little work right out of the box and if they don't they will eventually. Many amatures pick up a guitar and if it buzzes or has too high of an action they think it is a piece of junk. Guitars change with temprature and humidity and it is very common to have a guitar adjusted from time to time. If you buy a guitar on line from mf and it doesn't play well don't blame the guitar, or manufactor. Take it to your guitar tech and have it set up properly.
I picked up my AG75 about 5 years ago. I felt guilty for getting such a good deal.

The neck is great and easy to play. I have had no problems with buzz or intonation and the pickups sound amazing.
I have had mine for 5 years now and have had no problems with the quality and workmanship of the guitar.
I actually paid less for mine 5 years ago but this guitar is a killer price for what you get.

This is not a bad guitar. No, it will not replace an Es-135 or 175. But if you want a good cheap guitar and are willing to put 12 flatwound fix the nut and the bridge and replace those cheap pick-ups then you will have a decent guitar or buy a Blemished washburn or Epi or Dean. I like Ibanez but not the cheap feel for their semi-hollows... sorry.

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

I'm a a novice player but, it doesn't take a professional player to appreciate this guitar. My music teacher, who is a professional player with guitars costing in the thousands has told me that I made an excellent buy.

      A Great Jazz Instrument

      By Gene King

      from Fairhope, AL

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

The best in it's class in fact superior in it's class!
What a pleasure to play. A guitar does not have to be thousands of dollars to sound great. In fact this AG75 from Ibanez is about a tenth of price of an ES175 from Gibson or it's sibling the GB10 from Ibanez and plays and sounds 9/10ths as good. Most people don't drive a Ferrari or a Benley, they drive Hondas, Nissans, or Chevys and the lke. I believe Chinese Ibanez guitars are as good as anything, after all they are made by human beings using God's naturlal materials. The Chinese have been artisans for thousands of years and are very good with their hands. They also are grateful to have a job and craftsmanship is second nature to them. The Japanese are extremely hands on management wise and believe me they are overridng the process of manufacturing with unrelenting diligence. The attention to detail regarding this instrument is second to none and the neck and fretboard are incredibly comforable and easy on the hands.
      High quality through and through.
No other company offers a better value in fact most are trying to catch up. What a great concept giving us a truly great guitar at a price we can afford.

Great small body hollow body gutar

      By Peter Peel

      from Ohio

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

I am impressed considering the cost.
I usually plan to change the neck pickup when I buy a guitar of this origin, but I am satisfied with these pickups as installed.
I have owned many archtop guitars and have a Gibson and a Gretsch also at this time.
I like the small body size and the hardware seems to work well and looks nice.
Fit and Finish are very good. I did setup to my liking and it plays very nice.
Frets were good. Bridge and nut fret were good although I made minor adjustments to them.
Great bang for the buck. a bound neck that looks very nice.
      Paint finish looks great

      A great guitar!

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

I think this guitar is great. Great tone. Easy to play. Well built, but then again I've only had it for a couple of weeks.
I like the features, especially being able to play it unplugged. It is still not as loud as a regular acoustic, but I didn't expect it to be, but it is loud enough for me. I love the sound both plugged in and unplugged. The neck is very comfortable, not too thin, not too thick. I've got guitars with a thicker neck and thinner necks. This one is good.
It seems to be built pretty well. I liked the way it was set up from the factory. The action is nice and low, the way I like it. Intonation was good. My only concern is that foam padding that is under the bridge. I don't think it can be removed without messing up the intonation.
      Great value for the price!

      A guitar for MEN.

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

This is a guitar for MEN. Chill-en' go play yu SG, dis ain't for yu!I play Blues and It'll give you a great Old Skoo Southern Blues sound, or West coast style Jazz-Blues. Western Swing too, and I'm sure you can get your Jazz sounds out of it with flat-wounds, but the pickups are bright. It sounds best played clear to moderate overdrive. The A string gets a lot of resonance that you can make great use of. You can get all kinds of great sounds with the pickups, it can change your musical direction.Heavy overdrive does not suite it, and it'll resonate too much and feedback. You should use a semi or solid body for that, they do a much better job with overdrive. This guitar is small bodied only 14.5" across and 2.75" deep.It has deep baritone voice, deeper than a semi-hollow.The ceramic pickups that give a bright sound, much brighter than an alnico. The body feels strong, it's got 2 thick braces running lengthwise, double binding, MOP inlay and has very high build/design quality.

      Just to clarify size.

      By rpaul

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

I'll all the other reviewers say their say about sound and playability etc. I want to clarify the difference between this model and the AF series. The AF series is the full size hollow-body in maple with maple top. This AG series is a smaller body in every dimension but otherwise the same as the AF series. An "S" anywhere in Ibanez's naming system denotes a thinner body depth with a center block.

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

I saw this in a pawn shop, Ibanez? I just played some bar chords here and there and bought it. The playability is so great. I lowered the bridge a bit. The fret board and the neck are so comfortable. This Artcore AG75 is a beauty. Thanks Ibanez.

      Great guitar!

      By Musicman1213

      from Port Washington, NY

Comments about Ibanez Artcore AG75 Electric Guitar:

I just bought this guitar, and it is great! It needs some minor adjustments such as removing the pick guard which is a preference, but just looks nice. It is a little wide and hard to get your arm around at first, but you get used to it. Plays well without an amp, and you only need an amp if you are playing really loud. There is no feedback, and it sounds pretty good with distortion.
