This is the first Guitar bought and without playing first. I was looking for a 335 type guitar and this popped up on the radar via the Ibanez website. I like that it is about an inch smaller in the bottom dia when compared to a 335. When I opened the box I was suprised to find this beautiful instrument in imediate playing condition. It is put together very well with no flaws in fit or finish. The pick ups could be better but at this price point they fit the bill. I can get tones suitable for jazz, funk, rock, r&b Etc. Overall I am very happy with this guitar. I don't have anything negative to say about it. I think I got one of the last ones shipped. I am glad I didn't wait any longer to pull the trigger on this purchase. Very worth checking into if you can find one.
I played this for a few minutes at the local music store and I fell in love with it. 2 days before that I had played another Ibanez artcore very similar to this one but I liked this one a little more. I think the body was a little smaller which I like because it holds well when sitting and is very, very versatile. I played it with some serious metal effects and it sounded great then I put it on clean and it was still amazing. This is one of the best guitars out of hundreds that I've ever used.
I played this guitar and it was surprisingly great for clean and distorted tones. The pickups are good for the price and it sits well. This guitar is very balaced and well made. I love semihollow bodies and this one tops the list. I used a Boss metal zone pedal and it still picked up every note that I played. This guitar is one of the best I've played and I've played literally hundreds. I would recommend this to players who love a versatile guitar and have some experience.
I purchased the guitar years ago in a local store.I went in and was just going to buy a strap but then I saw this baby and had to buy it. Smartest decision I've made. This guitar has been put up to the test of time and has past. Its been beaten bruised and almost killed in some of the gigs I've played yet it has lived on! Not to mention the killer tone you can get from this baby with the neck pickup, smooth as butter.Overall best guitar in its price range hands down!I have boughten more expensive guitars but for some reason this one just fits and beats em all.
Hello, I picked this little beauty up last week. She is guitar #12 ;-)and let me tell you, she plays like a dream. The neck is slim and fast the body is comfortable. The tone is fine, its not a Gibson, But its a great little Guitar for the price! Pick one up and try it out.
Now I got this guitar not knowing the full capabilities of it. After experimentation I found this to be an amazing guitar! It's fairly lightweight, easy to play, and the double cutaway provides for maximum reach to lower frets. With proper distortion and tuning this thing can play anything! Ever heard metal from a hollow body? Its insane. buy it!
Well... about 3 years ago i purchased this at the local music store. I feel very stupid now considering I was in the the (Iron Maiden, Megadeath, Metallica stuff) and I bought this guitar because I thought it looked pretty sweet. About two weeks from that day I found out that this guitar was made for jazz and blues. But i realized how awesome this guitar is because you can play any style what-so-ever. Buy this guitar, it was and still is extremely versatile!
I bought a blem model (trans brown) two/three years ago, and have been very satisfied. I'm not really sure there was something wrong with it? It plays well, sounds good, and looks great. The only thing I might do is upgrade the pickups and tuners, but probably not :).
I just got this guitar and it's way better than any guitar I've owned in the past. First off it looks incredible. I have the transparent brown one and It looks much better than it does in the picture. For the price this guitar is amazing. I would expect it to cost twice as much. It has such a sweet and clean sound to it when unplugged. The only thing I might consider updating on this guitar is the humbuckers. I'm thinking about replacing the existing ones with a gibson 57 classical/gibson 57 classsic plus configuration. Still an amazing buy for the great quality.
Bought this guitar from a music store that was closing on impulse. The thing rocks! The tone is outstanding, it's extremely easy to fret, and the action is great. It surpasses my classic les paul for pure sound. Gotta say it is the best guitar I own.
