I have been playing guitar for 45 years and have played some great guitars and some not so great. I have become a fan of Ibanez guitars in the last year. I also have an S520EX -- great for shredding.Anyway I have had my eye on the ARX for some time. When I saw it had dropped for clearance I snapped it up. Just got it -- adjusted action and pick-ups to my liking -- this is the best guitar I own for the money. It's beautiful, plays like a dream and sounds like no other guitar I own. I love it. Ibanez pickups do the job and then some - great output. Buy this guitar before they're gone for good.
Got the ARX300 about a month ago - WOW talk about FAST shipping! Oh yea, the guitar itself; DROOOL! The thing is gorgeous to look at, feels friendly, and the the tone is rich. The neck is just a tad narrower than I'm used to (I've had a Fender HM Strat for years), but that just takes getting used to. Heck, my wife was impressed with the looks and sound too.
I love this guitar. It is light and thin. The artwork on this guitar is amazing, not to mention the inlay in the neck. This is a GREAT guitar for the price.
I purchased this guitar after many hours of research and after playing just about every guitar I could find in it's price range. This guitar has the smoothest, most creamy sound of all the guitars I played. I love the Blues and Southern Rock and this guitar does it extremely well. My seventeen year old son plays heavy metal and he loves this guitar. The price for the quality is unmatched and the look of this guitar reminds me of a high end Gibson. The mother of pearl and abalone inlays in the neck are excellently done and in good taste, not pimpish at all. The tone and sustain are awsome. I would like to thank Ibanez for putting a top of the line guitar like this on the market at a beginner to intermediate price level.
I bought this guitar as soon as it came into theshowroom. When I played it I instantly wanted it. I plays amazingly, fast and smooth, and thank to the humbuckers sounds great. has lot of vintage styled hardware. 10of10. Thanks for making a great guitar.
I recently purchased this guitar, and it has incredible tone. I use a line6 spider 2, and I must say this guitar can cut through even the heaviest distortion. Best buy for the price.
Un-freakin-believable. This is one of the best playing low-priced electrics I've ever played. Creamy tone, flat and straight neck, and silky action (after set-up). The pick-ups are a bit too hot for my preference, and it could have been made with fine tuners, but can't complain for the price. This is one of my best purchases for an electric.
A while ago I decided I wanted to get an Les Paul. Unfortunately, as is the case with most Gibsons, they are prohibitively expensive, so the idea kind of went to the backburner, figuring I'd buy a used one if I ran across it. I stumbled across the ARX300 by accident while I was browsing Ibanez's website for replacement parts and became infatuated with its looks. Typically, I like to play a guitar before I buy it but I've had such good experiences with Ibanez in the past that I decided to chance it - I was not dissappointed. The tone on this axe is smooth as silk - on par with the far pricier LP. It plays fast, and feels solid and durable without being heavy. The balance is decent. The set up out of the box was near perfect; all it needed was a tuning and a bridge adjustment. Ibanez has done it again. I would strongly reccomend this guitar to anyone in the market for an LP-like guitar without the price tag.
The ARX300CRS is a sweet guitar! I love this thing. It Has a great Sound, and it was a smash hit with all my friends. It has a beutiful look, and it's soooo easy to play! This thing is awesome
Just got mine today and couldn't be more satisfied. No flaws, setup was very nice-lowered the pickups to my taste, action height was great-not to low not to high. Intonation on. Great guitar. Thanks Ibanez
