OVERVIEW

A thunderous offensive on the metal guitar.

Iron Label, the Ibanez made-for-metal series, continues its thunderous offensive on the metal guitar market as its single-cutaway down-tunable wonder, the ARZ, joins the Iron Label.

The ARZ series features a sleek, single cutaway design, 24-fret, ultra-comfort set-in neck with smooth heel, designed for metal music. With a longer 25 in. scale length, the ARZ series was developed for down tuning—and the Iron Label treatment.

The ARZIR30 features a Mahogany ARZ set-in Mahogany neck and body, Medium frets, and the ART-1 bridge for superior intonation and sustain. Electronics include an EMG 60 pickup for a classic-thick, buttery tone and an EMG 81 for fluid sustain and blistering high-end that can cut through any mix.

Gotoh locking machine heads help provide superior tuning stability and expedite string changes. With a beautiful black flat finish, bound Ebony fretboard, Pearl/ Abalone block inlays, and Cosmo Black hardware, take the ARZ and Iron Label series to a new level of style of classic elegance. Case sold separately.

Comments about Ibanez ARZ Iron Label ARZIR30 6 string Electric Guitar:

I currently own 2 ESP E-ii guitars and was looking for an Eclipse. I tried many LTD (EC1000 Vintage, JH truckster, JH Iron Cross, etc) and ended up buying this Ibanez ARZIR30 without trying it, nor finding any review. I must say this Ibanez feels and looks a better than the LTD I tried. The finish is awsome, the neck is simply crazy amazing (just like I Love them, not RG thin....). And the frets.... YEAH THE FRETS, perfect! Those medium jumbo frets (dunlop 6130 I would guess) are as much as wide as the XJ, but lower. So you get all the sustain the XJ give you, and you still can feel the neck! My ESP have XJ frets and I am not a fan of the scalopped feel, and the fact that by pressing a tiny too much it goes sharp. Also the ARZ 25'' scale (like PRS) is so great.I really like the tension being between a fender (25.5'') and a Gibslon scale (24.75''). Thanks Ibanez!
