I got this guitar about three and a half months ago, and I must say there hasn't been a single day that I haven't played it. My old guitar was sufficient to what I was playing but it didn't have the right sound. It was a solid body with an HSS pickup configuration. I wanted a bluesier sound, I almost bought an epiphone dot studio semi-hollow when I happened across this beauty in my local guitar shop. As soon as I picked it up and played that first song I knew this was the guitar for me.The reason that the quality rating I gave is what it is, is because I noticed in the upper f-hole that you could see the manufacturing stamp and some of the glue had dripped on the solid block in the middle. Other wise this guitar is perfect.True this guitar is no match to a gibson es-335, it is a wonderful guitar for the price, and the quality exceeds for my budget. If you're a beggining guitarist, average or even an expert looking for a semi-hollow, I would not hesitate to suggest this guitar first.
