If you haven't played this beauty yet, what are you waiting for? I just picked this up at a local shop and couldn't believe I hadn't seen or heard of it earlier! This guitar rivals A/E's that are worth hundreds more. The electronics couldn't be more accurate and this AW300CENT looks and plays like a $2,000 guitar. Try pairing this up with a acoustasonic jr. amp from Fender and you'll be amazed at what you hear! Check it out. You'll be glad you did!
I bought one of these, and the pickup fell apart within a month and now the neck is warped.
Solidly built, warm tone with great sustain and really cuts through the mix, comfortable to play, and looks professional. All in all an excellent acoustic.
I bought this guitar because Mike Eizinger plays it from incubus. It has excellent sound and plays great...I love it.
It has some of the best tones I have heard, the only thing that matches this guitar is a top of the line Martin guitar. The features our awesome, you have an awesome pickup(which is used by the best in the business martin and taylor), great tuners its always stays in tune, Great inlays, Mother of pearl all over the place, this guitar is beautiful and at its price, if i had more cash i would buy 2. the only downside is that it doesn't come with the hardshell case(like all ibanez guitars), I suggest when you purchase you buy a hardshell case or gig bag to protect this beauty. This guitar is an investment, and will get better with age.
I tried the 100, 200, and the 300 just a few seconds apart - and that's all it took to hear the difference. The low E just seemed to fit with the rest of the strings.
I have 38 years of experience & I have played and owned a number of guitars including Fender, Crafter, & Alverez & I rate this near the top of the line.
I've had this guitar for over two years now, and I absolutely love it. I am so proud of it when I play with other guitarists because it has the most full, rich sound of any guitar I have ever heard. And, by the way, don't listen to bad reviews, I've had this guitar for two years now and everything still works and the neck is as straight as an arrow. My action is as low as most electric guitars!
