Solid spruce top, thinline body, and active pickup system for a sound that sits on top of the mix.
The Ibanez Euphoria Steve Vai Signature Acoustic Electric Guitar is best summed up by the Mr. Vai himself: "The new Euphoria is made to be sleek and thin with a large acoustic-electric sound. Its size gives it a bright crisp tone that allows it to sit on top of a mix."-Steve Vai
The Euphoria has a thinline body for comfort and feedback resistance. It's made of mahogany with a solid engelmann spruce top for a bright, articulate acoustic sound. Appointments include an original rosette design, rosewood bridge and fretboard, and Ivorex II nut and saddle for increased focus and sustain. A special "Vai" 12th fret inlay gives just the right touch to the fretboard.
Includes the Fishman Sonicore Pickup and Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp, designed especially for thin bodies. Its simple 2-band control makes adjusting the sound easy and provides plenty of bottom. A phase switch for reducing feedback and a user-friendly onboard tuner are also provided.
Case sold separately.

Comments about Ibanez Euphoria Steve Vai Signature Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
This is a great buy. I have (and had) several acoustics costing many times more but my first instrument is electric guitar. This is a "hybrid" in that the neck is very similar to my Parker and so easy to play. The guitar sounds great unplugged even better through a processor. Nice electronics and the built in tuner is a major plus. This will be my live acoustic gui. Highly recommended for those who love electric guitar necks and a smaller footprint per body. Great for the living room as well. It is fun to play and I don't feel as if I am fighting a large dread for live or any other use. Well built and Ibanez hit a home run here. Being a jazz/folk/R&B player...it fits the bill real well. Really would work for just about any style. If you read the features and specs at MF and at Ibanez' site, what is said is absolutely true. I really don't care if Steve Vai's name is on it, I bought the guitar because of the build, sound, and playability. A+.
