I've been playing this guitar for about a year. It compairs well with some much more expensive guitars that I have used. I like the jumbo body and do not think I could go back to a smaller guitar. That being said, my wife and my nephew (both have smaller builds) have trouble with the jumbo body. This is a big guitar. It has a nice full tone and can fill a room. I like the neck, it is slightly thinner but has a smooth fast feel. I have seen reviews complaining about the frets, but they are perfect on mine. One thing some players may not like is the lack of inlayed dots on the fret board. This does not bother me, and there are small markers on the side of the fret board. My only gripe is that I would have liked a cutaway, but that is feature on the electric acoustic version of this guitar. This is a great guitar and way to go Ibanez to produce yet another guitar that is as good if not better than guitars 3 and 4 times the price.

This guitar looks nicer than it sounds. The action is a little high and it doesn't produce a whole lot of sound, even strumming hard on it. I don't think the exotic wood used carries harmonics well or something. We ended up trading the guitar because it was hard on the fingers to get enough sound out of it.

I bought this guitar trying upgrade from my beginner model to an "Intermediate" instrument until I could afford a nicer one, but considering the quality of my Ibanez, I won't be upgrading for a long time, if at all. This guitar will be my main instrument for many years to come.
I am a beginning guitar player. This is my first guitar and I love it! Sounds great and fits in my hands perfectly. highly recomend it.
I have this guitar for about two years now. It offers me consistent quality with a great tone. Nice play on the fretboard and durability. The only thing I would wish for is a cut-away for the lower frets.
This thing get ooooo's and aaahhhhh's. By far the best looking figured top for the price, it is stunning. Not an imperfection on it. The setup is good, it was in tune when I got it! The EW comes with a spare saddle and shimes, also a bridge pin. The sound is a little different than a spruce top, but this guitar "is" different. You will not believe its good looks.
i was pretty much sold on this guitar when i first saw it, before even playing it. i know now, that you shouldn't buy a guitar just because it looks great, and that sound is more important. i had this guitar for a few weeks but smashed it after having a bad day. somehow, i still wonder if i should buy another one. only down fall is that the ound doesn't match the looks. sounnds great, but looks better. however, like i said, i still think about buying another one from time to time.
I played this one in one of our local music stores, and was very impressed with it. The tone is of good quality, but what you would expect of a cheaper acoustic. As far as the looks go, you really could not get better for under $300. Overall, this is an ideal acoustic for any beginner or intermidiate guitarist. I own one Ibanez solid body electic, and I will never part with it. The quality they can put in instruments while maintaining affordability is always impressive.
The finish on this guitar is so unique, perfect for anyone like myself who isn't just looking for a generic looking acousic guitar. The sound is rich and deep, sounds like a $1,000 instrument.
After three minutes of playing this guitar at GC I new I had to have it. I originally went in to get an acoustic/electric model but could not pass up this amazing instrument. The price should be at least double for the sound that it produces. Just for comparison I played a few higher end guitars and this one was just as good. Get it and you will not be disappointed.
I got this guitar and I am amazed. This thing is the Pam Anderson of Acoustics! It looks beautiful, obviously, and has great lows and mids, all for an excellent price. It has excellent parts and great Ibanez quality. For anyone from a beginner to a pro, I'd say buy this guitar!
I've been playing on this guitar for a year now, and I have to say that after 8 years of playing, this guitar is unparalleled in looks, sound, and playability. I haven't had to change the strings yet, and the guitar still stays in perfect tune, even after I try to throw it off. Definitely the finest piece of Ibanez craftsmanship available for the money.
