I've had this guitar for over 10 years now, and I gotta say it still sounds good as the day I got it. This was my 2nd guitar, my first one was a cheap fender squire.

The tune-o-matic bridge is useful if you decide to change strings, and it also makes it waay easy to quickly change strings.

I think the only thing I do not like about this guitar would have to be the loose input jack, it's nothing too serious to worry about... It just bugs me from time to time.

alright so i bought this guitar about 5 monthes ago and have been THOURUGHY impressed with it since i got it  home!!! i bought it when it was discontinued and got it for a steal! i love the feel of the neck with how thin it is, and personally being into heavier music, the pick-ups have blown me away! there is so much sustain and i can get a real heavy sound from it. its been durable and quite good to me so far. only negative i have is that its not well balanced, it dives when you let go of neck, but if you just tuck it to your side when not holding it, it sits just fine.

I got this as my starter guitar in the red finish. Playing for 4 years now through a peavey valve king. PROS: -Very nice guitar for the price tag. Two above average stock humbuckers, nice sustain, light weight. -Pretty to look at. -Thin neck for anyone with stubby fingers like me. CONS: -Intonation gets out of whack quickly -Stock tuners suck -Electronics die in and out after a year -Weight of guitar is uneven so the headstock points towards the ground when you just stand there with a strap. All in all, it's a wonderful STARTER guitar. I'd suggest it to anyone new that might plan on getting further into guitar.

I actually bought this guitar as a "hold-me-over", but it is now my first choice. With my (very old) Peavey Studio Pro amp, this little baby churns out some sweet blues or crunching hard rock whenever I need it to, which is quite often. I would highly recommend this guitar to any beginning or intermediate player as a great first axe, and to anybody else who plays as a reliable back-up too anything else they're playing.

no guitar is perfect. and no one guitar is the same as another. however, this guitar is perfect for intermediate players. i have had this guitar for over five years and it has held up to my abuse. the neck joint is solid, the neck is strait as an arrow, and the hardware and pickups have had no problems. this guitar is not very versitile. its a pretty basic design. but its a joy to play. im planning on upgrading to a pristige s series because i have become a more elaborate player. but all you beginers out there thinking about buying a squire or another cheaper guitar, stick with ibanez.
