dude, ibanez is the best guitars in the world, but thats what you'd expect from the greatest names in guitars, the original makers of guitars. this guitars sound quality and playability for the money is increadable, if you are thinking of picking up guitar, this is the best starter out there, hands down...
This was my first electric guitar, and I refuse to get rid of it. I bought it used and after my friend fixed the action, it plays amazingly. It is definitely worth the price, and more. If you are looking for 1st guitar, this is perfect. The quality is great, nothing has gone wrong with mine, and the humbucker is a must have for any rock musician.
I got one of these back in 2002, it was my first electric. It's good for beginners because it's got all the basic features, 2 single coils and a humbucker, it's built solid, and has a fast neck. Mine had nice, low action. Intonation had to be adjusted. The single coils were dull, though, and the humbucker was muddy. The tremolo throws the guitar out of tune and so does anything over a half step bend. After replacing the neck and bridge pickups with a Ducan SSL-1 and a Dimarzio Super Distortion, was much more pleased with the tone. All in all, it's a solidly built guitar with low end hardware and electronics, but thats to be expected at such a price. Very comfortable neck for that price though.I would reccomend this guitar.
This was my first axe. I got it 2 years ago in the jumpstart package(been playing for 3 years). Back then I almost bought a Squire, I'm glad I didn't! The Humbucker has a decent crunch(though it is muddy, but begginers won't notice), and the neck and middle combined sound decent on clean(good for R&B rhythms) For beginners out there, this is the best in my opinion in its price range. The neck in particular is why i got it back then...It is fast. The only thing I have a problem with is the tuners...the thing will not stay in tune(but thats expected with all beginners guitars)Overall for the beginner this is excellent...Ibanez has won me over; im savin up for an RG.......until then I'm gonna put a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge as well as some Sperzels.
This is my 1st guitar and it is great for beginners, Ibanez is one of the best guitars (in my Opinion). But i would reccomend this guitar to anyone!
I got this guitar a few weeks ago, the only thing wrong is that it has a few chips in the paint, but only on the back. The sound is great for the low grade pickups. The strings on it were junk, but if you put some elixir nanowebs on there this will sound amazing. If you?re tight on money but want a great strat then this is definitely a great buy.
