I bought this used as a second guitar behind my Jackson and my custom Strat. It arrived in immaculate shape, and I immediately put it through its paces, and it stood up (to my surprise) to whatever I threw at it. Started playing John Petrucci's "Wishful Thinking" and it played like a dream. It feels good and sturdy, the action is low and there's no fret buzz, the pickups are nice and hot. Turning the volume knob results in stiff resistance near the low end, but otherwise this guitar is the most spectacular deal I ever made. I can tell, already, that this will be my main guitar, and the others will be the reserves, lol!

i own 4 ibanez's and thats my guitar of choice. the pickups are very good neck is ok had to do a fret level and set intonation but once i did it played like a 500 guitar i would buy another

Overall great axe, good for practicing and maybe even light gigging.
As far as this goes, I like the fact that they give you two humbuckers and a single coil to mess around with. It provides a lot of added versatility, allowing you to dial in way more tones than the traditional dual humbucker setup. The trem is okay, I don't mess around with it too much, and the tuners are fantastic. She tunes like a charm and stays put, standard or alternate tuning.
Overall a great build, seems solid enough, tuners are great, trem does its job, not too many complaints about the neck... only complaint was some kinda glue on the frets... but it washes off easy enough and doesn't do any harm.
I'm not going to lie, for the price I expected a little bit more, but it isn't bad.

I dont like the tone selector cap because it detaches easily and falls to the floor
The guitar I bought is a good one, but there is a problem with the tone selector because the rubber cap is falling very often and sometimes it falls on the floor and is difficult to find it and put it back in.
It's a shame !!!
