This guitar is amazing! I am into mostly post hardcore music, so I bought a Fender Standard Telecaster. But I recently joined a death metal/metal core band and I needed something that I could tune down without having to worry too much about the neck warping, and had to sound good. I was on a budget so I looked around for a little bit, I saw this online before and didn't even think about buying it, but I went to the music store and saw this thing in red. WOW! This thing looks amazing; the neck is just like a wizard II neck just a tiny bit bigger. I bought it right away and I am really happy with it! It sounds really good and doesn't cause much feedback when I turn it up, unlike my Tele. When I saw it in red, I had no idea it was this guitar, so when I got home, I looked for it, and what do you know. This thing needs to be priced at least $400. Buy it now before they come to their senses and make the price higher!

Shred on a budget

By PRSguy212

I've been playing guitar for over 10 yrs. I've owned and played numerous different guitars from strats, to les pauls, to explorers and kellys. I was out buying a guitar for my newphew, who im teaching and played this baby. WOW!!! I ended up buying two that day. I replaced the bridge with a dimarzio super distortion, and the thing is near perfect. Great sound, Great neck, great price, you can't go wrong.

Ibanez never fails

By shredfest

from kalispell, mt

I bought this guitar 2 months ago and have no real complaints it stays in tune very well even when tuned down to a C or B tuning. I did end up putting some 81/85 EMG's on it, (not that the originals were that bad, was a bit of an effort to get pinch harmonics) and now it squeals like a pig. The neck plays nice and fast and the action is also nice on it so the only problem really was putting more money into it as I paid for it. In the long run worth it. If you enjoy playing fast and heavy music its not a bad axe.

Still Lovein it.

By Frosted O's

I've had this guitar for over a year and love it. I replaced the pickups with sh-6 duncans in both positions. The tuners are ok but I will be replacing them, even though this guitar does stay in tune for a long time. If you want a cheap shredding guitar, than this is your choice.

great guitar, could be better

By the man-HaMJb

it's a great beginner guitar. the frets stick out on mine and cut you fingers but you get used to it. The 3rd string always go out of tune because of the way the head is shaped, but other than that it's an awesome beginner guitar.

So far so good...

My first guitar was only $50 less than this one, but I got much MORE with this guitar. The deal is huge. You get two fat humbuckers on this rig. It also looks cool. I've never even used one of these compact setups. This is like a real electric, since it isn't super-heavy and the body isn't huge. It does require a 9 volt, though. Still, the only thing that gives away the fact that this is more of a budget line is the unfinished fretboard. Other than that, this is exactly what I was looking for to replace my heavy Fender Tele, a cheaper yet well-equiped axe to pick up often to just jam for fun......

Nice

Very nice guitar for a bolt neck. I bought this one mainly to customize. I threw on some sperzel tuners, a DiM super distortion in the bridge and a PAF Joe in the neck and now this baby rocks. It was a decent beginners guitar right out of the box, but for my level of playing it needed more.

this is my first electric guitar and im glad it's this one. It sounds great and has the looks for it. For this price there is no way that someone shouldn't get it.

This is a great little axe. Its super light and sounds great. The problem I have is the un-finished fretboard, other than that its a great little guitar. I suggest picking one up if your on a tight budget.

good all around

this is a nice guitar. the body is awesome and comfortable. the strings are very high off the body, but the action is low and fast. the neck is nice and round, not paper thin like a Jackson. with a couple of stickers and some pickups with over wound coils and you've got yourself a kick*** guitar.
