Comments about Ibanez IJV30 Quickstart 3/4 Acoustic Guitar Pack:
This was a Christmas gift for our grandson - a beginning guitarist. When we received it, it was packaged well, and a beautiful little guitar. It came with a tuner and gig bag. I tried to tune it several times and it kept going out of tune. It seemed that the #1 and #6 strings had a "dead" tone. We decided to keep it, but intend to take it to a local music shop to have new good quality strings put on it to see if that helps. Right now, I am somewhat concerned as to whether we made a good choice or not.
Pros
- Affordable
- High Quality
Cons

- Smaller Hands
Comments about Ibanez IJV30 Quickstart 3/4 Acoustic Guitar Pack:
I bought this guitar as a gift for my wife who wanted to learn how to play, and since receiving it she's been practicing on it nightly and I've been really impressed with its sounds, quality build, and her ability to handle it (because of the 3/4 size, she's petite). Overall, she's thrilled with it, and I won major points not just for getting a gift that she wanted, but finding the perfect one for her. At least for where she's at now.

Comments about Ibanez IJV30 Quickstart 3/4 Acoustic Guitar Pack:
We chose this pack for our 7-year-old daughter, who loves to sing when I play and wants to learn. I've been playing vintage Gibson accoustics for 30+ years and am really pleased with the tone quality of this little Ibanez!
It is a tad big (but playable) for our daughter. But she'll grow into it in no time, and she'd be growing OUT of a 1/2 size before she learned to play it. If she starts like I did, she probably won't be playing in earnest for a couple of years, but in the meantime, I'll enjoy playing it when I travel. And it stands up to the Gibsons without apology if we need another instrument for a jam session.
Pros
- Clear Soft Strums
- decent quality
Cons
- Cant Strum Hard Clear
Best Uses
- Learning Technique
- Practicing Writing Songs

Comments about Ibanez IJV30 Quickstart 3/4 Acoustic Guitar Pack:
I was highly impressed with this guitar, having been an active guitarist for the last 20 years. Bought it for my 9 year old son and the neck fit his hand like a glove. Very playable and stays in tune. The finish was perfect, not one flaw could be found. Excellent tone qualities. The only thing I could find was the intonation was not perfect when it arrived, but a small adjustment took care of that. He plays it daily and can't wait to get his homework finished now so he can pick it up. The fact that he gets his homework done is enough justification in itself! (Parents can understand that!) I highly recommend this guitar.

I bought this guitar for my 10 year old son after he had been playing my full size with some difficulty for a couple of months. For a 3/4 it has a great tone and tunes very nicely. It is one of the nicest sounding guitars in our house. i would definately recommend it to anyone looking for a youth guitar. Frets off easily and is much easier for small hands to learn quickly on.
Pros
- Came with tuner and case
- Easy to play
- Good Sound for price
- Perfect size
Cons
- Can't think of any
Best Uses
- Great starter guitar

Bought this guitar as a present for my grandson who appears to have a facisnation for wanting to learn guitar. Great size and sound for little hands and nice look. He loved it and that is all I need to know. Played a couple songs on it myself and it plays well for the price. Ibanez, Nice Guitars.

The tuner would be a 5.

As a dust cover I would give it a 5
Comments about Ibanez IJV30 Quickstart 3/4 Acoustic Guitar Pack:
I did some research and read a lot of reviews for different brands and decided to go with this Ibanez. So far I am very pleased. I ordered the guitar on a Friday and received it on the next Tuesday. Great, quick service from Musicians Friend. This guitar is being used as a first guitar for a 10 year old boy to learn the basics on. I also ordered a couple of sets of Martin Light strings to replace the usually not real good strings from the factory. The guitar actually sounded ok right out of the box, but once I changed the strings out and tuned it up, it really did come alive in my opinion. I am really impressed with the sound of this guitar for its size and money and it looks like it will be a great guitar for my son until he grows into a full size model.
The fit and finish was very impressive. I was not expecting as good a quality as it was. Very good beginner's guitar. If I was in the market for another one, I would purchase again. That pretty much sums it up.
