From Ibanez comes an all-solid wood mini jumbo acoustic designed with guitar extraordinaire Joe Satriani. The JSA10 Satriani Signature acoustic guitar is comfortable to play, sounds great, and plays like a dream.
Built on the mini jumbo platform, the depth of the body and width of the upper bout produces an Ibanez acoustic guitar with plenty of punchy bass, with balanced dynamic range in the mid and upper-midrange frequencies. Shaped like the very large jumbo, but medium sized, the mini-jumbo guitar is increasing in popularity due to its full tone combined with a comfortable rounded size. The Joe Satriani guitar is ideal for rhythmic strumming, delicate finger picking, or shredding some lightning guitar licks. The cutaway design on the Ibanez Joe Satriani signature guitar offers plenty of access to the upper frets for glorious high-range melodies. The solid Engelmann spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides produce a full, balanced guitar tone, with plenty of dynamics and projection. The mahogany neck complements these qualities and adds clarity to the Ibanez guitar's sustain. The sturdy ebony bridge and fingerboard produces solid tone with impressive sustain and overall presence.
At the heart of this acoustic-electric guitar lies a Fishman electronics system, letting you dial in the ideal natural sound with its intuitive controls. Ibanez JSA10 guitar features the Fishman Matrix pickup with Ellipse VT preamp. The ergonomic soundhole-mounted design puts slider controls at your fingertips, to maintain a natural playing position. Plus, the unique tone control cuts mid ranges while boosting treble and bass. The Ibanez guitar's active Acoustic Matrix system employs state-of-the-art surface-mount technology in its exclusive endpin-mounted, miniaturized preamp. The pickup may be plugged into any acoustic or electric guitar amplifier, sound system, recording console or direct box with excellent results.

Joseph Satriani is an American multi-instrumentalist, known primarily for his work as an instrumental rock guitarist, with multiple Grammy Award nominations. His dexterity and years of dedication to his craft have earned him a reputation as a shred guitarist. Early in his career, Satriani worked as a guitar instructor, and some of his former students have achieved fame with their guitar skills (Steve Vai, Tom Morello, Larry LaLonde, Kirk Hammett, Charlie Hunter, Kevin Cadogan, Alex Skolnick). Satriani has been a driving force in the music credited to other musicians throughout his career, as a founder of the ever-changing touring trio, G3, as well as performing in various positions with other musicians. He currently plays with the group Chickenfoot, along with former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

Read above I'm tired
I have been playing this guitar for 6 months now. It's well built no sloppy glue inside or gaps. very eye pleasing. love the finished feel of the ebony fret board. I had to lower the action.I was able to get it to play like an electric guitar low. no buzzing. however I did it over a 2 wk span to allow changes to settle in. They give you an extra saddle in case you goof up. the guitar hugs up close to your body for an intimate feel. my sholder gets a little sore because it's a wide body. then again I'm not young, and my joints aren't as supple... The sound, it's rich, deep and classy, beautiful overtones. in a group of acoustic guitars it's low warm voice, is sometimes hidden. the highs and lows are separated nicely the mids are of less vol. The guitar is heavy, the rose wood I presume. I'm using light d'addarios. I'm sure if I used mediums the guitar would project more. this guitar does not have that boomy drednaught thing going on, and it doesn't have the brittle bright sound. it has it's own unusual voice, I really love this guitar.
