Stripping it down to the basics without all the extra knobs and switches helped to obtain that, as well as using quality materials makes the Ibanez MBM1 able to withstand the punishing touring lifestyle. Razor tight rhythm tones and full-bodied clean tones from the EMG humbuckers make it the ideal choice for a rock and metal guitar.
The guitar sports an arched top and Wizard neck with Prestige finishing for supreme comfort. Massive Gibraltar Plus fixed bridge allows wide range of intonation adjustment needed for heavy strings. Gotoh precision tuning machines. Includes deluxe Prestige case.

"I'm not worthy, im not worthy!" I just got this sweet guitar today and I can't put it down, seriously, its in my lap right now! The gibralter massive plus bridge is awesome, the emg's on it are sweet and the overall tonage of the guitar is a**-kicking. If you are into shadows fall and like playing their style of music, than take my advice and get this guitar, its worth the few extra bucks but it goes a long way. I'm am extremely satisfied with this guitar. This guitar is the light that blinds.

I went to a Shadows Fall concert and I saw Matt Bachand use this guitar live. It is versatile in the tones of rock/metal, particularly the rhythym/background guitar. It excells in still being present whilst the lead guitarist solos. I hope this is helpful.

I went to a Shadows Fall concert and saw matt bachand use his signature axe. As the description says, it has enough versatility for rock/metal. He had a variety of tones for a rock metal guitarist. He knew how to both give way for jon donais to solo yet still be bold and agressive. i haven't played it, but i hope this is useful.
