    A full-sounding dreadnought with cutaway.

The Ibanez PF25ECEWC guitar offers all of the advantages of acoustic dreadnought design plus modern electric capabilities.

With their full sound, strong bass, and clarity in chording and soloing, dreadnoughts have become the most popular acoustic body style. Add to this the Ibanez piezo pickup and AEQ200T preamp and you've got a toneful combination.

The dreadnought tone is enhanced by a spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The Ivorex nut and saddle also help.

Ivorex II is stronger and more durable than bone and even harder than the original Ivorex. Ivorex II allows brilliant highs and more pronounced lows with less mid-range, which makes Ivorex II-fitted guitars perfect for amplification.

With PF Performance acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars, you get professional features, quality, and great sound at extremely inexpensive prices backed by the Ibanez name and limited lifetime warranty.

Comments about Ibanez PF25ECEWC PF Series Acoustic Electric Guitar:

I didn't think much about this guitar when I saw that it was an Ibanez, as I have never thought Ibanez made a good sounding guitar. I liked the look of it and at the price listed, I thought I'd give it a try. I was amazed at how clear and controlled the tone was on this guitar once I started strumming. I lean toward Yamaha guitars because they tend to be more pronounced in the lower tones, which helps when you don't have a bass to play along with. Yamaha also is a good value for the money. This guitar sounded as good as the Yamaha I was looking at, but with a much lower price tag and a custom hard case included! You can do a lot with this guitar. I plugged it into an amp and was pleased with how the sound transferred. I plugged it into a pre-amp and was even more impressed. I've been looking at acoustic-electric guitars for several months now and have yet to find a better value for the money. I jammed with my friend's Taylor and they sounded great together. Excellent wood finish shell, quality fingerboard and neck, nice inlay around the sound hole, no complaints about the electronic tuner or wiring, and a full sound every time. I am very happy with this guitar.

Comments about Ibanez PF25ECEWC PF Series Acoustic Electric Guitar:

The guitar is really good. I got it in an exchange for a classical. The finish was is really nice. It looks really good. The neck is a really good width (not to thin or to thick) The strings are of average quality but onces I get some Elixers on it will be awesome. The pick ups are not great but good. I have had friend who have spent allot of money on an acoustic/electric to find that the pick ups are terrible. The built in tuner only works when plugged into an amp and it can only tune if well if you are mostly in tune already. My older brother said that he did not think an Ibanez could make a good guitar but once he saw it and played it he liked it.

Comments about Ibanez PF25ECEWC PF Series Acoustic Electric Guitar:

The guitar has a beautiful, rich, full sound. The preamp is weak but still gives nice individual control. The varnish job is horrible and uneven. If I had been in better lighting when I opened the box I would have sent it back. By the time I realized how poor the finish was I had already destroyed the packaging. Take note of the finish when you take it out of the box. I expected better from Ibanez even on a lower end instrument.
