I've had this guitar for about a year, it plays great and is amazingly priced. It is a tough guitar and has lived through a beating. I got the Jewel blue finish and it looked great at the store, probably because it was in such strong light, but when i brought it home it looked a lot like a deep purple. I never had a problem with the tuning, unlike the other rewiews, and it can keep its sound for a couple weeks, even with intense praticing. I didn't like how the inputs of the strings were enclosed and you have to unscrew it to change strings, but that's a small price to pay for such great quality. The only problem i've had with it was that the cord input kept coming loose and i would lose the signal alltogether, so i had to bring a wrench out and tighten it (which could be misfortunate at a gig). On a brighter note, it has a nice frame and the wizard II neck feels great. It plays better than any squier guitar in the same price range. all in all, it's a great guitar in a great price range and is perfect for beginners or even intermediates.

The guitar is ok, stock pickups aren't that bad. I changed the bridge pickup though. The guitar has a decent sound and overall is a good practice/beginner guitar. Just a few annoying things to me like MAD fret buzzing (no matter what) and I don't care too much for floating tremolos. Other than that, it's a tough guitar that's fun to play, and stays in tune well. The bridge pickup has decent lows/mids, but lacks clarity. The neck pickup is very bassy, again it lacks clarity. With a decent amp, the guitar's minor sound flaws can be overlooked easily. The greatest thing about this guitar is the neck! I LOVE the wizard necks, it's very thin and very easy to play. I think that's the greatest thing on these guitars. It's a comfy axe! I enjoy mine despite the few problems. In case you're wondering, I switched the stock bridge pickup for a Seymour Duncan screamin deamon - I hate this pickup more than fret buzz... Could sound better in a different guitar, but they DON'T go well with RG's (mine anyway). Just not sure what to get to replace it, cause I don't have the stock pickup anymore. Anyway, this is my review. If you're short on cash or you're VERY new to guitar and want a sharp looking hard rocking guitar, check this one out!

Very good sound and fun to play!
This guitar plays very, very well, has a nice, heavy sound and goes well with anything you could think of doing...
Great Git, Awesome For Metal or whatever kind of Music You like. Sounds good right out of the Box. Only problem is when You use Whammy bar to much it tends to go out of tune. Other than that I am very happy with My new Guitar. Great for someone just starting out or for Professional Musicians.
Very nice! The moment I got it I liked it. It was very efficient going from high distortion and gritty to very nice clean tones. It's tight!
Good solid guitar, very easy to play, wide frets, lots of possiblities, great sound clean or distorted.
i am amazed at the quality of this guitar. i mean for *** bucks this guitar rocks. i do agree that the pickups couldve been better and that if you use the tremolo too much it will go out of tune. but lookswise and overall playing wise this guitar is great. if your into rock, hard rock, or even grindcore stuff and u dont have alot of cash this is your guitar
This is one of my current axes, I bought it because it was priced right, and sounded like it would be a great guitar. When I opened up the box and plugged it in, WoW!!, this guitar was a better value than I thought. It has great sound, especially if you play rock, metal, classic rock, etc. I play through a Line 6 Flextone III XL amp with the Line 6 floorboard. It'll stand up to some abuse, as well. If you are looking for a great guitar for jammin out rock or crunchin metal, I would highly recommend this guitar, for beginners and veterans alike, everyone should own this great budget-priced rocker!
My first guitar is very similar to this one. 3 pickup positions are a plus. Wide range of tone and whammy bar works incredibly. Cable insert became loose after about 5 1/2 months of owning it, and whammy bar couldn't stay in the slot to save its life; i'm usually fightin' with it. Knobs also became loose quickly. Wish there were two tone knobs, but the one knob provides almost enough tone to make up for both. The guitar itself is bound loosely together, but it sure provides great sound for the money. Fast neck and 24 frets are great. good first guitar!
Never had a problem with it.. sounds awesome, everything works great on it, and especially for the price!
It's a sweet guitar. It's thin, and the neck is sssooo fast it seems greasy, but it's dry!
