OVERVIEW

A premier metal axe with EMG pickups, and the simplicity and sustain of a fixed bridge.

The RG 321E electric guitar features a 3-piece bolt-on maple neck with the thin and fast Ibanez wizard II profile and a mahogany body like that offers extra power, warmth, chunk, and strong sustain. The bound rosewood fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets and pearl dot inlays. All hardware is black including a Gilbraltar Standard bridge, and die-cast tuners.

The RG321E is loaded with passive EMG Hi-Z humbuckers pickups in the neck and bridge positions. Controls include a master volume, master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector.

      Slight Mix Up

      By Tim Hamlett

      from Florida

Comments about Ibanez RG321 Electric Guitar:

My wife and I ordered the RG321, White for our son for Christmas. It arrived about a week and a half before the big day and, shame on us, we didn't open the package to check the contents.

On Christmas day we watched with delight as our sone tore the paper off and pulled out a guitar box labeled Rogue Rocketeer. We couldn't believe it. Musician's friend scwered up the shipment. We called the next day and MF was very helpful in sending out the right guitar next day air at their expense and sending a pre-paid label to ship the Rogue guitar back.

We were disappointed but MF made everything right. MF...the next time you send me the wrong guitar please make it a Les Paul or a White Falcon.

Also when the RG321 arrived I went to put batteries in for the active EMG's that the Website description said it had in it. There was none. Also the advertised 5-way pick-up selector was only a 3-way. I called and questioned this. Well it turns out that MF put the wrong description up.

      MF you're 0 for 2

Comments about Ibanez RG321 Electric Guitar:

For the price you can't get a better guitar.
      Awesome guitar!!!
Needs set up out of the box and some heavy strings like Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky's. Drop C tune and this axe will destroy your neighbor's lives! I can't put it down...

      Not Your Average RG

      By aj-jTDCy

Comments about Ibanez RG321 Electric Guitar:

I wanted a fixed-bridge RG, and this one was new, but no fine tuners as stated. Heavy guitar because it's mahogany. Setup was way off. NOT active EMG pups as described, but less-expensive passive instead. Bridge pup has nice sustain w/rich harmonics. Neck pup is okay. Lower notes fuzzy and dissonant on either pup. A 3-way switch, not the stated 5-way, and vol knob only cuts the vol and chokes highs. Bland tone. Neck feels great, but plays stiff. Nut cut too small for 9's. It popped and creaked making tuningimpossible until fixed. Hardware isn't black, but rather a nice dark gray. Well-finished with a great neck that looses it with poor playability and sound. Expensive fix; better spent up front. Wish I'd sent it back. However, the 1st B and C on G string through a cranked Blackstar HT-5 w/4x12 cab always rolled into these harmonically-rich overtones forever sustained. Sweet spot city! If B or C are the root, at least I have a go-to guitar. Highly anticipated; seriously disappointed.
