It's a good guitar. It's great for the average to advanced musician. The features are great, have dropped it due to broken strap, and hasn't broken, good solid wood. Worth buying!
I saw this guitar, and the looks immediately sold me on it, so I went ahead and bought it. I wasn't disappointed at all, as there were no cosmetic flaws at all. The one problem with it is the volume switch, which doesn't do volume swells very well until you get it way down in volume. Tonally and cosmetically, though, this guitar is awesome, and its playability is really amazing. I would highly recommend this guitar, as it is suited to many different genres, not just metal.
Having owned it for a few weeks now and done the invariable pickup swap, I can say that this guitar is a force to be reckoned with. It is right there with, if not better than, the J-Customs that run a serious premium even on this guitar.Solid construction, new Edge Zero bridge is so stable its almost obscene. I've broken a string whilst testing it and the ZPS3 system kept the guitar IN TUNE. Best trem on the planet, hands down. And honestly, I love the stock pickups, I just swapped for some gray & black DiMarzio customs. It is the "Santana" of shred. That's real-deal abalone folks, no "mother of toilet seat" here. Buy it, now. ;)
