OVERVIEW

An affordable rocker with a basswood body, Wizard neck and tremolo bridge.

The RG is the most recognizable and distinctive guitar in the Ibanez line. Three decades of metal have forged this high-performance machine, honing it for both speed and strength. This RG450DXL Left-Handed model has a basswood body and a Wizard III neck shape that offers maximum comfort and speed. Its fingerboard is rosewood with 24 jumbo frets for bigger note bends and it also comes with triple Ibanez INF pickups that are wired to a 5-way switch for a variety of coil combinations and sounds. An Edge-Zero tremolo bridge and Cosmo black hardware complete the list of hard-rockin' appointments.

Wizard III Maple neck
Ibanez's thin, flat, and fast, yet strong and sturdy, Wizard neck offers unlimited playability for demanding players, and features a two-octave 24-fret fretboard for wide tonal range.

Infinity Pickups
The Infinity neck pickup provides dynamic sound for chording and rhythm playing, and the bridge pickup provides brightness with warm sound and strong harmonics.

Edge-Zero II Tremolo
Lower profile designed tremolo for playing comfort, and stud lock function for stable tuning.

Case sold separately.

Comments about Ibanez RG450DXB Left-Handed Electric Guitar:

Love mine! The neck is well shaped and feels good.
Tone is very nice, Looks sharp as well.
I have always had good luck with Ibanez, and wasn't dissapointed this time either.
I also purchased the Peavey Vypyr2 amp. Although the amp takes a little getting used to with the multitude of settings, the mix of these two so far has proven to be nothing short of impressive for the cost invested.

The customer service at Musicians Friend was top notch. I can't say enough great things about these guys and gals. It's very rare these days to deal with a company that that is willing to provide this level of service, not to mention standing behind what they sell. Kudo's to you Musicians Friend for all you do.

Comments about Ibanez RG450DXB Left-Handed Electric Guitar:

Everything is good here. As a lefty most companys frankly suck when it comes to how lefthanded people are treated. ESP seems to be the only one with color. Fender or Gibson can take a hike. Even Ibanez when it comes to a guitar other than white or black,
you just will not do it.

Comments about Ibanez RG450DXB Left-Handed Electric Guitar:

I use this for fun and home recording my work. Be prepared to set it up yourself if you mail order, and even if it comes off the rack at a store. It is quite a learning curve to set up a Floyd style vibrato (some call it a tremolo) if it is your first one. It was mine, and it kind of sucked until I understood the relationships of all the aspects and function of components.

There is NO 3 piece neck. Other than that, I am satisfied with the overall quality and craft work involved.
