Comments about Ibanez RG752FX Prestige RG Series 7 String Electric Guitar:
went from an RGD2127Z with Bare Knuckle Aftermaths to this. Heres Why:
RGD issues - Aftermaths in basswood sounded honkey, harsh and the amount of clangy overtones shrouded tone, 26.5 neck felt a little big and sweeping was a stretch! Also fitted a Dimarzio Crunchlab & Liquifire combo still a no go just sounded murkier
The RG752FX with Bare Knuckle "Nailbombs" & Ernie Ball .10-.46 - .60 in drop A for Perfectly balanced tension.
the 25.5" neck made a world of difference!
The "Nailbombs" added the perfect amount of organic tone basswood lacks and just sounds perfectly balanced at all angles wether your shredding through a 6505 series amp, ripping some blue's on an old plexi, or floating in clean tone with a Vox or Dr. Z and even experimenting with the great digital world of the axe fx and kemper!
If you have a collection or just want a great all round instrument there is bound to be an ibanez RG in your collection!
