Comments about Ibanez RGD2120Z Prestige Electric Guitar:
Sweet guitar beautiful neck amazing and stable zero edge whammy, usually play fixed bridge for their stability but no problems here, even with heavy palm muting its balanced well enough that it doesn't detune with the extra pressure. Over all this guitar plays and sounds like what it costs. I have 6 other guitars which range in price from 300 to 800 all with aftermarket dimarzios blackouts or emgs and I cant play any of them any more. The tone is so inferior and the playability feels like that of a kids guitar. Every attention to detail has been considered. Rubber grip on the volume knob, metal plates on the back covering the electronics, vibration dampeners on the whammy springs. everything is covered. stock pups don't even sound that bad. Was worried since they were in house pups, rather than ibanezes usual dimarzio. paint job and body design are subtle yet make it stand out. The neck is as fast as you could ever want. I find my picking, sweeping and legato work have all improved just because of this neck, its build quality and its extra length. And the guitar just sounds better, I never knew why single note lines always sounded imature to me on my other guitars, they dont on this one, its screw on neck but has more sustain than my set neck ltd. Its a sweet guitar. If you have the money and you're looking for a good metal guitar, especially for drop tuning, I own a schecter, fender, washburn, high end jackson, bc rich, and a high end ltd and this guitar renders them all unusable.
Comments about Ibanez RGD2120Z Prestige Electric Guitar:
Ive been playing for about 8 years now but never had a guitar that had that WOW factor to it, in looks and sound. I went to an awesome music store in Frankfurt, Germany near where i am stationed and had my eyes set on a seven string model or a high quality S model....i played those and was impressed, but the moment i picked this bad boy up i was sold. The tone is amazing, it could cut a redwood in half! The harmonic squeals and dive bombs on this thing has given everyone that has played it here that signature "face"...and you all know which one too! The Body cut on top makes it very comfortable to play, your arm rest in the perfect position. The bridge is amazingly stable...i have it at the factory D tuning and it has not budged at all. I would definately recommend this any day of the week. Compared to the other beauties....This beast brings one heck of a bite!
