Comments about Ibanez RGD421 Electric Guitar:
Excellent guitar for drop tuning. I thought the pickups would be lacking due to the widespread opinion that they are junk, but they actually sound great. You need to replace the factory strings with heavier gauge strings, I use Not Even Slinkys and they work perfectly with this axe for tuning to Drop B. Both pickups deliver full, massive sound that my shorter scale Gibson Les Paul and Flying V never were able to, even with heavy gauge strings. Im all about this guitar right now.
