A mahogany body with a beautiful top and triple pickups makes it an eye-catching rocker.
The cutting-edge of Ibanez design, the S series continues to be a marvel of form and function. Its signature body shape - sculpted, lightweight, and mahogany - is stronger and more musically responsive than guitars weighing twice as much. The S series is still a rock 'n' roll version of a quick, graceful, and potentially lethal weapon.
This S571DXQM model has a mahogany body with a beautiful quilted maple top. A Wizard III neck offers maximum comfort and speed. Its bound fingerboard is rosewood with 24 jumbo frets for effortless note bends. It also comes with triple Ibanez INF pickups that are wired to a 5-way switch for a variety of coil combinations and sounds. A Gilbralter standard bridge and black hardware complete the list of hard-rockin' appointments.
Wizard III Maple neck
Ibanez's thin, flat, and fast, yet strong and sturdy, Wizard neck offers unlimited playability for demanding players, and features a two-octave 24-fret fingerboard for wide tonal range.
The Infinity pickups provide excellent tone and dynamics with great versatility.

Comments about Ibanez S571DXQM Series Quilted Maple Top Electric Guitar:
Mostly this is a great guitar. I LOVE the feel of the S series body and I chose this because it has a fixed bridge. The feel of the neck is great, but the bridge is a little awkwardly shaped. It tends to get in the way during palm muting. At some point I'll probably get frustrated with it and grind it down a little but I haven't yet. The tone out of the neck (INF1) and middle (INFS1) are great!! They're very versatile and I can achieve a lot of different styles. The bridge pickup (INF2) is just ok. I swapped it out for a DiMarzio Super Distortion to boost the output. The stock bridge pickup doesn't have enough bass or output for my liking.
