OVERVIEW

A wild looking acoustic-electric with the richness of an acoustic and the playability of an electric.

The Ibanez TCM50NT Talman double cutaway acoustic-electric guitar is perfect for electric guitarists who want to gain the full tones of an acoustic guitar without losing the comfort and playability of an electric. The TCM50NT combines the rich sound of an acoustic with the size, upper fret access and radical looks of an electric. Featuring a stronger and more durable Ivorex II nut the TCM50NT has brilliant highs and more pronounced lows. The Ivorex II saddle is specially formulated to provide ultra-fast response and maximum sound transfer to the body. Equipped with the Ibanez AP2 magnetic pickup and the Ibanez AEQ-200 preamp with 2-band EQ this is an acoustic-electric that sounds great amplified.

Case sold separately.

Comments about Ibanez Talman Series TCM50NT Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is definitely made to be amplified, what it's not plugged in there is not a lot of sound, unplugged it basically sounds like strings strung over a cardboard box. But I like the sound of it plugged in.
If you're thinking it's going to replace your acoustic guitar think again it is size wise an electric guitar has the electric guitar feel.
In my opinion this is overpriced you get what you pay for and I guess maybe I was expecting something else but I don't think it's worth the money, sorry Ibanez.
I have other guitars but it cost less money by Alvarez and Washburn to blow this boat out of the freaking water.

Comments about Ibanez Talman Series TCM50NT Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

My TCM50NT sounds great for its' size. It's a pretty instrument that is great for travel and using with small or large amp. I keep it on a kitchen chair connected to a small practice amp so it is handy to play all the time. Nice instrument for small spaces.

Comments about Ibanez Talman Series TCM50NT Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I own two 20 models of this guitar, and I'm going to order the 50 because of the pickup on this. Not an under saddle piezo.

These are FANTASTIC guitars, but they're not acceptable as ACOUSTIC guitars not plugged in. Totally okay for practice unplugged, but don't expect to play around the campfire and compete with dreadnoughts. It ain't loud enough.

    But plugged in? To anything?

Outstanding sound and playability, when you consider its narrow body and thin, fast neck.

Ibanez is the ONLY company making AEs in this category, and they're fantastic.

Comments about Ibanez Talman Series TCM50NT Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar to me is awesome. I come from acoustic background but the action on this is like an electric. Definetly a very nice guitar. Played my uncles a while back and just loved the playability of it. Plan on traching my wife with it and eventually my son.

Has a great sound. Not rediculously loud so ot lets you jam with others without over powering them. Stays in tune as well. Also its a small body double cutaway. Small body makes it fun for me and easy for my wife who is smaller.
