    Great Guitar

    By owlish

Comments about Ibanez Xiphos XP300FX Electric Guitar:

I have played this guitar at my local music shop and it plays and sounds terrific. I am going to purchase this guitar this year for sure.Neck is fast and very well executed. I play drop tunings and tested it with the stock strings to low C and was very impressed. The scale allows to do this at 25.5". Wizard II neck is perfect for my hands, they are a little smaller than average. I like the feel of the neck better than my Carvin V220 that was made in 1987.Pickups are awesome. So good I don't feel I have to replace them. I got plenty of harmonics with average or little effort.Body is a cool shape in my opinion. I like star-shaped guitars. Paint is perfect.Features are minimal but what do you need when you play at 10?Ibanez continues to put out quality low-end material. This one will be a keeper.

    Wanna be a Warrior?

    By Joey D

    from MIAMI FL

Comments about Ibanez Xiphos XP300FX Electric Guitar:

This guitar is a nicely executed knock off of a Jackson Warrior, which isn't a bad thing. All these people putting D'activators in their guitars are insane, these pick-ups through a good amp are very clear and clean. If you play black metal you'll love doing big chord riffs because the full melody of the chord rings through. Watch out for Ibanez's lack luster set ups and warped necks upon arrival, i needed to swap mine out twice...finally got one with out a bowed neck.

    Built for shredding!!!

    By Anonymous

Comments about Ibanez Xiphos XP300FX Electric Guitar:

i play shredding guitar for a classical death metal band, i already owned a bc rich ironbird, and though its an awesome guitar, i wanted a second. so...i saw this at a local guitar center and decided to try it, i instantly fell in love with it. after a few weeks of playing on it, i thought it needed something more, so i added a dimarzio d activator x to the bridge and a d activator to the neck, and now this guitar wails. dont get me wrong the stock pickups were awesome, im just very picky about my sound. but anyways, definant shredder.
