Solid, 3-piece, neck-thru mahogany construction is coupled with a single Seymour Duncan Iommi humbucker for the most direct, blistering, and muscular tone around! Developed with the Superjoint Ritual guitarist, every aspect of this model is designed for ultimate performance. It has sculpted mahogany body wings, an ebony fretboard with custom pentagram inlays, black hardware, and an adjustable bridge with fine-tune tailpiece. Jackson artist instruments are built to handle the hard life of the road, and are ready to take whatever gets thrown at them.
Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!
Kevin Bond's Jackson signature model!

I bought this guitar from a private seller, I was afraid the iommi pu wouldn't be powerful enough, but it's great. I played it with my friend who has a emg 81 85 combo, and this is just as powerful, and has a very clear sound. The guitar sustains wonderfully. The neck and fretboard are perfect for comfort and playability. I can play this guitar for hours on end, I had an Ibanez before that had a floyd rose and this has the fine tuning on the fixed bridge which is awesome, in fact that was the only thing I liked about my floyd and am happy to have a fixed bridge with this feature.
A friend recommended this axe to me and I value his opinion so I checked it out. I have owned a Rhoades in the past, but it was a cheap Korean knock off with a Jackson sticker on the headstock. Let's get to the nitty gritty about this EVIL shred machine. I've had it for about a year and I can't put it down. My go to guitar. I like simplicity and quality worksmanship and this mofo has got it. The best playing neck, Iommi pickup, neck through construction. I'm not even a superjoint fan!!
I played it at the shop and wow the pickup was awesome the only problem I had was that it was difficult to play sitting down other than that this guitar is awesome. It has a really fast neck and killer looks and inlays defiantly a good guitar but mostly good for stage and when you feel like standing.
i bought this guitar about 2 months ago and fell in love wiht it way bfore that. i am highly critical about quality and this blew me away. amazing sustain. fast neck. sweet inlays. a complete package for an ok price that is a lil steep. i highly reccoment this to anyone looking for a guitar that just screams metal up your a$$
If you want a randy rhoads...If you want a real hard soundif you like the tone of mahogany and comfort of the ebonyif you like seymour duncan pickups...and finallyif you want killer look and inlays...(dont forget the incredible long sustain)you should deffinetly buy this guitar.only upgrade you should do on this guitar is a graphite nut and locking tuners.(dont forget the incredible long sustain)
This guitar is simply amazing! I picked it up in a locale guitar store and immediatly felt 10 feet tall and bulletproof. The sound, the shape, and the weight make you fall in love with this guitar. A masterpeice.
This is probably the best Rhoads guitar I've ever used. I tried it compared to an RR1T and this thing completely dominated over it. Yes you all might think that since its made in japan that it's crap but I actually thought it felt the same if not better than the RR1T. The Seymour Duncan Iommi pickup sounds great clean or extremely distorted. I actually liked having only one knob. The only thing keeping this guitar from perfection is there is no Floyd Rose.
My friend just recently purchased this guitar at a local music shop and I played it for the first time today, I can honestly say I was blown away not only by its playability but by its unique sound and simple design. The set neck offers killer sustain and the bridge works pretty well and is a design I personally dont see very often called "fine tune" really a neat setup. It has a wicked fast neck, no suprise there, and really good string action. The single duncan Iommi signature pickup is for sure a hot rail some may not like it some might, it sounds bright and crisp through a marshall, in my personal guitar I have a dimebucker and it seems to produce more bass than I thought after hearing this thing. I will in the next month be purchasing this guitar and I didn't see any reviews on here so I hope this was helpful to some in making a decision. I mainly play metal and this thing is very well suited for the task and how could you hate on its killer looks I mean come on look at the inlays, one of a kind for sure. If you buy this satan will own you.
This guitar is simply amazing. It's light weight its got your one humbucker smoking fast neck and frets. It's a shredders dream. The action on this guitar is incredible along with the sound. It's a must have for any metal fan. Most DEF! worth the money.
I am definitely glad that I got this guitar, it's my first Rhoads I've played and this thing is awsome! It's well balanced, it's pretty light weight, gotta love a neck-thru, I got the green bevel version, and I also had an EMG-81 put in it, (that's what I prefer for pickup's) I definitely recommend this guitar!
