The factory strings absolutely suck so don't even bother playing them, just immediately buy different strings and replace the before you even think about playing this beast. The neck feels like butter, everything is easy to play. From riffs on the lower frets to shredding leads, and tremolo picking, you can do it all on this thing. Don't beat it up too much though or else you'll find yourself with a problem holding tune. Though guitars are supposed to be taken care of, I've recently bought sturdier guitars than this. I just wish I would've waited to get this guitar, I screwed it up out inexperience because I had only been playing for one year and didn't know how to re-string a guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge... needless to say, I ruined the poor thing, and I regret it so much because it was the easiest out of all of my guitars I have ever played, to shred on. Anyway, this guitar is great and for this price it's a steal. I wouldn't really suggest going for a higher price if you want to save some because this really doesn't lack much compared to the more expensive Jackson V's. You may want to get the pickups replaced after a while though.

too much money for the guitar you get
i wouldn't buy Jackson king v's anymore unless it was the real Robin Crosby style of king v, and or the RR models... Jackson gets away with making these guitars so dirt cheap,...Read complete review
i wouldn't buy Jackson king v's anymore unless it was the real Robin Crosby style of king v, and or the RR models... Jackson gets away with making these guitars so dirt cheap, its not even funny.. i've been playing flying V since i first started,
it gets a 6 because for the same price you can buy yourself a LTD or Dean.
At this price, guitar should be a good set of pickups and a decent floyd copy, not Duncan Designed pickups.. which we all know aren't real Duncan.
they are way over priced for the guitar, Not real Duncans, not a real floyd...

this was my first guitar and iv'e had it for 3 years now. i have the 2008 model so it sounds a little better considering they better tonal quality wood when i bought mine. this thing is a beast! get this guitar! the only probs. i had with it was nothing! i had no probs. only to say the pickups were a little flat sounding. only a little though, they still sound great though! i replaced the brigde pickup with a dimebucker and this guitar screames!! the neck pickup sounds great to. the tuners are amazing and never go out of tune. in fact it takes it abou 2.5 weeks for it to go out of tune! it just barely goes out though. get this guitar! it will blow you away!

Comments about Jackson KVX10 King V Electric Guitar:
very good guitar. it came with a chip off of the headstock, but i superglued it back on and it looks fine. it gets a great tone with distortion with my 100 watt marshall amp; though the clean channel gets a tad distorted when playing chords. it stays in tune pretty well, even when using the whammy bar. the only real issues i have with it are: sitting down and playing is impossible (expect if you use a tightened strap), and the bridge is very sensitive when muting the strings). But other than that this guitar is great.

the guitar is great. i love the body (but it sucks to play while sitting down). the imput jack is at a horrible place... the neck is fairly fast, but my KH-202 has a MUCH faster and smoother neck. the tremelo and tuners are great. and the pickups are very sensitive. overall i like this guitar, but might buy an ESP if i had to do it over...

After countless hours of trying to make everything right, the old man and I, mostly the old man, got everything pretty much working correctly. I now cant keep my hands off of the guitar, beautiful work of art she is :)
Comments about Jackson KVX10 King V Electric Guitar:
Well, I bought this guitar a few days ago and I'm sending it back. Terrible. Bought it new, the guitar arrives, I take it out and the headstock is chipped, about a thumbnail. I figured no problem, I'll fix it. So I did. Still, the guitar wont stay in tune for the life of me. Turns out the neck is slightly bent. Worst guitar I've ever bought. I'm sending it back for a different one. I'll always give Jackson a second chance, and I dont blame them, I blame UPS.

I played this guitar one day at a music store then went to buy it the next, its a great guitar, the tremolo system is awesome it stays in tune because of the locking nuts. The pickups have a great sound i was playing it through a full sized 100w marshal stack and it sounded great distorted.
