Don't mess around with the Demmel-ition Man.
Jackson is supremely stoked to unveil the magnificent Demmelition King V Electric Guitar. This is a guitar designed in collaboration with guitarist Phil Demmel of Grammy-nominated thrashmeisters Machine Head as a striking Pro Series artist signature model.
The 2008 Demmelition King V has the line's classic sharp V-shaped alder body, with a more aggressive edge thanks to its additional cutouts and set up for the low-tuned brutal player. Its through-body quartersawn maple neck features a bound compound-radius ebony fingerboard (12" to 16") with 24 jumbo frets, mother-of-pearl shark fin position inlays and black-bound headstock with an inlaid mother-of-pearl Jackson logo. The barrage comes from an EMG 81 bridge pickup and an EMG 60 neck pickup, each with its own CTS volume control and both controlled by a three-way Switchcraft switch. Other features include a Floyd Rose Original double-locking two-point tremolo bridge, black hardware and die-cast tuners.

I got my Demmelition King V last week and can't say enough good things about it. I plugged into my Mesa triple rectifier and shook the room! I've played for 20 years and owned multiple Gibson's, Jackson's, Ibanez's,and ESP's but this one tops them all. Excellent clarity and cuts through the mix like no other! Most low tuned guitars get muddy in the mix, but this one sings and sustains beyond belief. I've had trouble finding a set of replacement strings that match the manufacturer specs, but other than that no complaints. If you love the original shred Jackson necks from the 80's and 90's, then this is your axe. Much higher quality than the stuff Jackson put out from 2000-2007. The guitar is aggressively styled guitar that plays with little minimal effort. The Floyd Rose is second to none. The neck is extremely fast and lets you solo all day.If you are considering a Schecter or LTD, don't bother, they are made in Korea and don't withstand the abuse of thrash guitar playing. I have the white with black bevels, and plan to buy the black with silver. I'm actually gonna move my RR1 to be my backup guitar now. My ESP Horizon is headed for ebay.
My guitar arrived a few weeks ago and its just pure amazing.-One thing you might think about is the Emg 60 in neck- I was scared that I would need to replace it but no, its the best sounding neck pickup I've ever used it brings sweeps through more clear then ever. I was also suprised by the clean tone of the 60 its very warm and nice. And of course the emg 81 is metals best friend-Another thing I thought i was going to have to worry about is sitting and playing this thing. When sitting with this you put it with one spike over and one spike under your right leg (if you're right handed) like how you hold a classical guitar. To me its actually more comfortable to sit playing this then my les paul. -All I have to say about the neck is its fast as hell and plays smooth as butter -the floyd rose original keeps it in tune forever once you set it up and use the fine tuners to perfect the tuning. I do dive bombs and all that crazy wammy stuff all the time and I haven't tuned it since I got it (a little over 3 weeks ago).-the guitar hangs perfectly by my cheap nylon strap when standing up (its not in the least bit neck heavy)*overall I give this guitar a perfect rating because its well worth the money and it doesn't lack anything at all
So one day I was with my friend, he pulled out this huge beast, with astonishment I took it from him. The first thing I noticed other than the shape was that the neck felt very smooth and easy to do solos on. This guitar is meant for anyone who wants to do some heavy metal or thrash. I will recommend this to anyone!
This guitar is the best guitar you will ever play! The paint and body design are flawless! The EMGs in this sound great! This guitar feels so good you will not want to put this thing down! I recommend that you buy this guitar immediately before it is gone!!!! Believe me, you will not be disappointed and if you are a big Jackson fan you have got to have this one!!!
ok if your a big jackson you have got to get this one! i just picked one of these up and let me tell you it does not disapoint!it looks amazing and plays amazing. it sounds really good. the emgs pickup sound great and i really recomend this guitar no flaws what so ever ands if your a phil demmel fan this is a must machine head is probably very proud
This Guitar is just amazing, the EMG pickups, an original Floyd Rose locking Tremelo, not to mention the roughest looking guitar on the market. In my opinion it looks and plays better that a Dean Razorback because of the Bare maple neck that is also a neck thru construction which makes sustian amazing, a razorback has a finished neck with a set in neck or Glued to the body construction which can put limitations on ur play. Phil Demmel and Jackson have made a break through with this.
