OVERVIEW

Neck-through design, Seymour Duncan pickups and compound-radius neck.

Jackson’s first customer was the legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads, who asked to create a model that met the demands of his technically challenging playing with visual panache. The result continues to evolve, meeting the needs of players who came of age listening to his groundbreaking work. The Pro Rhoads RR is a proud claimant to the throne of high-tech guitars designed for shredding.

A pair of modern Seymour Duncan pickups drives this guitar’s flexible tone—a crisp JBTM TB4 humbucking bridge pickup and warm ‘59TM SH1N humbucking neck pickup combine for highly balanced, flexible tone, with plenty of high output for immaculate cleans and raw, raunchy distortion. The ultra-fast one-piece maple neck bears a pair of graphite rods for reinforcement against the assaults of temperature and humidity, remaining true for unbeatable performance while the speedy neck profile is engineered for blazing guitar work, removing any obstacles to fleet-fingered playing and granting easier access to the upper frets.

A 12”-16” compound radius fingerboard is engineered for highly technical lightspeed playing—more curved by the nut for comfortable chording, it flattens out as you move up the speedy neck for increasingly fast playing speed and wide bends without fretting out. The sensitive Floyd Rose FRT-O2000 recessed double-locking tremolo adds expressive vibrato to notes and chords with the tap of a finger while working in concert with the Floyd Rose R3 locking nut for rock-solid tuning performance and precise intonation.

The most recognizable of Jackson’s myriad offerings, this guitar bears the familiar aesthetics that make Jacksons in demand for performing guitarists. From the all-black hardware to the unique inlays, pointed 6-In-Line headstock and revolutionary body designs, this instrument is very distinctly a Jackson creation. Jackson guitars don’t just push the envelope, they annihilate it— and the Pro Rhoads RR is no exception to the rule.

Comments about Jackson Pro Rhoads RR Electric Guitar:

Indonisian made and they did a fantastic job. The compound neck with jumbo frets is super comfortable.
The passive Seymour Duncan pickups are out of this world articulate. They have that sound. Thrash to jazz go for it! The FloydRose FRT-02000 is of solid construction, the 3 metric(truss rod, nut, and saddle) Allen keys come with the guitar. Had to set up the FloydRose as to be expected, just watch a
few youtube vides and yes they are a pain in to set up. But if you own a FloydRose equipped guitar you should learn the process of setting it up! This guitar is a beautiful sounding work of art. People over crank the locking nuts. Just go to the point where it stops tightening and not too much more. Stays in tune, was working on Dime Bag harmonics after the 3rd day and it stayed in tune. Killer guitar, killer price. Get your pull on!!!

Comments about Jackson Pro Rhoads RR Electric Guitar:

Let's face it. You're looking at this guitar because you want a flashy guitar and you want to rip it on the neck. Well, if that IS the case, you came to the right place. This is honestly one of the best guitars I've ever touched let alone owned. The neck is unbelievably fast and the action is perfect. The frets are almost silky smooth and is incredibly comfortable to move around on. The Seymour Duncans scream and will hold notes forever if you are able to. The bottom of the neck is also surprisingly easy to access for a V shaped guitar. It almost feels like theres no difference from reaching the bottoms frets than it is the higher frets. To cut to the chase, if you want to shred and have a comfortable guitar, this is for you.
