Jackson

'Tude and tone to spare.

The Jackson RR5 Rhoads Pro Electric Guitar gives you superior tone, sustain and playability. This version of the Jackson Randy Rhoads V has it all: neck-thru-body construction, an alder body, maple neck with a compound-radius rosewood fretboard, Seymour Duncan JB SH4 Humbucking Pickup (bridge) and Jazz SH2N humbucker (neck), Tune-o-matic-style bridge with strings thru body, sharkfin inlays, and gold hardware. This Jackson Rhoads looks hot and sounds hot!

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

This is hands down one of the best guitars I have ever played on. I own a 1960's classic Gibson Les Paul, a Pretty Standard 90's Gibson Explorer, a Fender Telecaster, a Wolfgang, a few Ibanez guitars and a few custom built, and this guitar has become pretty much my main guitar. The only place that I didn't give this product a 5 star rating was in value. It's certainly a good deal for the guitar, but being a good guitar it certainly isn't cheap. Bottom line, if you have the cash and you want a guitar with a mean sound, this is a good buy.

This guitar was my first major guitar purchase. Though I've aquired several of my own and played many in stores and at friends, my black and gold jackson will forever be my favorite. I own and have played some fine instruments over the years but have never had a guitar play as smooth and comfortable as this. The way this looks it just glows. Though I will say the pickups limit my playing a bit as the clean sounds very muddy to me. This is not my main guitar for that reason, but as a great second guitar or if you play music that doesn't require much crisp clean playing no guitar rocks like this one!

Some would say I own too many guitars (3 types of Gibson Les Pauls, Taylor T5, Gibson J45RE) but my collection was missing a V. In this recession I did not want to spend a lot of money and I have been doing alot of looking. I received an order from MF's and in it was a sale catalog with the RR5 at a discount price so I thought "what have I got to lose?" I am glad I ordered it. I especially like how I can get further down the neck as compared to a Les Paul. Great value for my working collection.

I have had this guitar for about 6 months and its still brand new. I play 3-8 hour days, and this thing takes it and makes everything i play shine.  This guitar sounds better than my friends les paul studio, and can do anything you want from clean to metal youre covered. perfect pickups and build if you want this guitar buy it, but one thing.  The guitar is set up like a les paul where the body is at an angle away from the strings and bridge making it hard to anchor your hand if you do that, but you'll get used to that.  Other than that this is a great guitar out of the case.  Oh and it comes with a case, a very strong case, perfect for the guitar.

I just got this thing a couple of hours ago.  I love this guitar but mine has problems. Only the top knob was volume, the middle was tone and the last one didn't work with the switch set for the neck pickup.  I love this guitar it plays and sounds like a dream, but like I said, mine had problems.
