Comments about Jackson SLATXMG3-7 String Electric Guitar:

I love the guitar. Just had to do some minor adjustment myself but the guitar has an amazing build quality, and a thin fast neck. I hope it was just a minor fluke in QA. I definitely recommend this guitar to any experienced shredder :)

NOTE: Prepare to do your own minor adjustments

Comments about Jackson SLATXMG3-7 String Electric Guitar:

Tried out two of these in matte black, both the newer models with corrected bridge pickup routing. First one it seemed the bridge was anchored slightly off so the lowest string (low B) was too close to the fretboard edge and would often slip off while playing. Returned it and got another. This time perfect alignment but palm mutes on the bridge pickup ring with a horrible harmonic overtone/squeal that isn't present in any of my other guitars even those with EMG's. I tried everything to fix it - checking the truss rod wasn't loose, everything tightened down, raising the action (bridge), noiseless trem springs, and swapping pickup positions in case it was a microphonic and nothing helped. Now I have to return it and I am done with this guitar. Beware and remember you have a 30 day return policy so if you find something wrong don't just settle!
