Comments about Jasmine ES31C Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar, Jasmine by Takamine, is one of the easiest guitars I have played. Sounds great plugged or unplugged, holds tune well, looks great and is fun to play.

Comments about Jasmine ES31C Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Very happy with this one. I have several guitars including a new Takamine P3DC. Although it does not compare I have no complaints about this Jasmine ES31C. Been around the living room for 5 years. Good tone, straight neck, stays in tune, no buzzing, plenty acoustic volume. I put Elixer Nanoweb 10 gage strings on it. The passive pick up, volume and tone work well and sound good. I slide the gain all the way up and the tone down close to zero - connect it to a Danelectro Fish and Chips EQ - lower the mids and raise the lows and highs and small amount - plug that into a Roland keyboard amp or JBL EON powered speaker or Carvin 12 channel PA system and its easy to get a very suitable tone for picking and strumming. Its a passive system so the Fish and Chips EQ gives enough output gain as needed. I'd imagine a good acoustic preamp would sound even better. I would play this in front of an audience without hesitation. Doesn't sound like a Taylor or Martin but your playing skills make a bigger difference than an expensive guitar.

Comments about Jasmine ES31C Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Purchased this guitar for my son for Christmas. It was recommended by his guitar instructor. He absolutely loves it. And so does his guitar instructor. He loves playing it and practices all the time. Good purchase, good price.

          Best Bang For Your Buck

          By Anthony Sheridan

Comments about Jasmine ES31C Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this for a cheap way to get through an acoustic gig. After having it my hands I see no reason to upgrade.
You're not going to find a better guitar for the price. It sounds great and looks even better. The finish smudges easily, but cleans off with no problems.
Not a single problem out of the box. Well built
You can spend more, but the sound improvement is going to be negligable.

This guitar is amazing. I got this guitar a couple weeks ago and strait out of the box was a ok but i lucky bought some martin strings for it and replaced it. Now it is sounding great. I play guitar in my church band and this guitar sounds like a dream the quality is just beautiful. I highly recommend this guitar if you are tight on cash.

          OK Guitar For Beginners

          By some punk

          from Hainesport, NJ

Comments about Jasmine ES31C Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I had been playing electric for somewhere around a year or so when my parents got me this Jasmine ES31C. I've had it ever since then, but I'm not holding on to it because it sounds great, because truthfully, it's not all that special. I'm holding on to it because it's my only acoustic. It's good for beginner players, but for those people like me who want a real bright sound out of an acoustic, something with a certain sparkle, don't waste your time. I'm saving up for a bright Epiphone acoustic. Oh, and the electric portion? The sound's pretty uninteresting even when played through a karaoke machine.
