Wonderful guitar. I bought the blue model and when it arrived I found that it was the best guitar I own. I've used it to play live and it works great, the onl complaint is that the hard-case needs a bit of glue to keep the fabric on but it's worth the price.
I ordered the Red model. Was very happy with it out of the box, after tuning it up it played decently. the fretboard is actually very fast for an acoustic, and sounded very good even untreated. This is a medium sized guitar, and very lightwieght. the cutaway provides easy access and the higher end of the fretboard plays just as well. Closer inspection showed that all the frets and inlays were prefectly installed. The Bridge and Nut do not look very good however and will require some filing to get it set up and take out the grooves, seems whoever tested it at the factory was not concerned that the strings were not aligned properly when they tested the tension, so the gaps between each string are not uniform. The finish looks great, and the guitar sounds good, but because of the medium size is a little thin on the low end. Despite the advertising of a high quality Takamine pickup and pre-amp, it's just a standard cheap one as too be expected on a budget guitar. The included hardshell case is of decent quality, I was suprised to find a 10 ft 1/4" cable along with key and allan key in the storage compartment. The interior is a black velvet felt and the guitar is a snug fit. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and once I get it set up can forsee many hours of enjoyment coming from this guitar.
This is a beautifull guitar. I like the way it feels. It is medium sized comfortable, and easy guitar to handle or hold. My daughter likes blue so I chose a blue quilted one. It arrived with a great hardshell case. It is for her to play any time she desires. I like the professional music it creates. I enjoy creating music with fine instruments. The price I paid for this guitar was remarkable. I purchased it at a great savings. This is the best company to buy a musical instrument. The packaging of this guitar was secure and professional with a lot of packing material. I am in the process of creating a beautifull piece of work with this excellent guitar. Buy it!Discover your talent with it! Savor it! and Enjoy It! Five stars for this baby!
I've had this guitar for about 6 months now. The pictures do NOT do it justice, the color is amazing. I was searching for just a simple acoustic/electric and came across this I couldn't turn it down. The stock strings are even pretty good. The action on this guitar is MARVELOUS it sounds great. No fret buzz and the inlays are gorgeous. Helps to have an in-tuner and comes with a good hardshell case. Worth the money.
I've had this guitar for a little over a month. I was shopping around for 6 string acoustic-electrics for a while and just happend to stumble upon this beauty. Not only does it sound amazing, it PLAYS amazing plugged in or not. The inlays are gorgeous and the fact that I don't have to deal with string pins is a major plus. Not to mention it came with a free hard case that should be WELL over the retail price. One and ONLY one downfall so far would be the rubbing (as it looks) going into the sound hole. You can tell it wasnt totally finished but if you never looked closely you'd never actually tell. AWSOME GUITAR. AWSOME DEAL.
I bought this guitar a few weeks ago really pleased with the aperance of it, but what I really like is the sound only my second guitar but I love this one for the price and over all pacage. If looking for a inexpensive guitar this for sure the a good deal.
Okay so I had some tip money saved up from last year's handful of gigs, and was looking for a step up from my old Chinese Madeira dreadnaught (which is an incredible guitar but does not have electronics, which I have been seeking for live performances). Every now and then I was sweeping through MF seeking that next guitar, and my jaw dropped when I saw the Jasmine slashed to a bare bones price. I could not resist, and I have been very satisfied. It took a few hours to break it in, and it did need a slight neck adjustment to take out a bit of bowl, but the sound is such an improvement over my Madeira's aftermarket soundhole pickup, and having volume control, EQ control, and onboard tuner is all I could have possible asked for in the price tag. And to add to the delight, it comes with a very sturdy case and a cable! I don't care much either way for the bright paint job, but it is beautifully done and will probably draw a few more eyes to the stage. Thanks MF!
I got the blue on because the red didnt look all that amazing to me. When I took it out of the box it looked great! VERY nice gloss finish and a ver nice blue. The sound is great! You expect one of those "you get what you pay for" things..but it was better than what I payed for! The hardshell case is magnificent! I take it to school and the case protects it very well. A snug fit so no bumps or anything. Overall..cant beat it unless you spend 1,000$ or more..most deffinatley!
I just received my guitar today, and I must say, right out of the box it was a beautiful guitar. I ordered the red one, and it is beautiful. The strings are not the best, but I changed them for a set of medium gauge acoustic, and it improved the sound tremendously. It came with a built in tuner also, and E.Q. I would reccomend this to a professionaal guitarist, and novice as well. Good buy for the Money. Also came with a hard shell case..... GET ONE NOW.
I got this guitar about two weeks ago, and in that time, my acoustic guitar playing has skyrocketed. Because I like this guitar so much, I rarely play my electric anymore. An electric guitar has its place, but it can't compare to the beauty of the sound that comes out of this guitar. Totally worth the 400 bucks. I would expect to pay twice as much at least for a guitar like this.In addition it is one of the most gorgeous guitars I've seen. I got the red one, and the finish is shiny and the colors are rich and vibrant. The Inlays in the fret-board are amazing. The case is great for protecting the guitar (and cats like to play in it). If you're deciding which acoustic guitar to get, go for this one.
