Comments about Johnson SO-610-T-BK Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
Bought this for a great price on a 'Stupid Deal of the Day". Figured what do I have to lose. I was looking for an inexpensive 'beater'. I am very impressed. Looks good. Feels good. Place easy. Sounds GREAT for the price. I mean REALLY GREAT!. This is marketed to beginners, and it would make a great beginners guitar. But it's also something that any player would not be ashamed to own and play. Even at the regular price it's a bargain.
It took a week or so for things to settle in tuning wise, but after that it's been pretty stable. Maybe a small tweak here or there every once in a while.
I am not a professional musician. Just someone who enjoys playing for the fun of playing. This thing is FUN!

Comments about Johnson SO-610-T-BK Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
I own my own recording/ record company and have been a touring musician since I was six years old. When I was younger and money was an issue, I bought the off-brands to fit in the budget for anything to play. Now, with an unlimited budget, I still like to play the offbrands to see what the rest of the world is missing in paying for a name.
In this guitar, they are missing a lot. It has a gorgeous piano black finish without a trace of imperfection I can find. It has a nice overall aesthetic and plays fairly fast for an acoustic. The sound is where this guitar shines. Sounding almost as good as any guitar in my repertoire of studio and touring acoustics. I was actually very shocked at the full sound that this guitar puts out. Having a nice, balanced mid and high range... While retaining a very pleasing low end.
I have acoustics from all of the major brands, using them for studio and stage. This guitar will fit nicely with them for all of my needs. I will be turning the recording and studio musicians that come through my building onto these if they want something that sounds good to write with or even record with on the road. That they don't have to worry about somebody stealing or destroying, due to its price. I just feel stupid for not buying 10 of them when they were the deal of the day.
I fully recommend these for any musician out there, whether you're just starting out or youve been around like me for the past 30 years. It's a nice cheap, yet incredible sounding alternative to the thousand plus you would pay for a decent namebrand guitar. Sure, it isn't the end-all be-all… But then again this is one great sounding guitar that you don't have to worry about when youre out f the room.

Overall this was a great guitar for the costs spent for it. It performs as well as many other guitars I have played and owned in the sub twohundo range... Actually this plays better in a couple areas, like good square fretting and nice quality keys.
