Comments about Lag Guitars T100ACE Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I bought this guitar about a week ago and haven't put it down yet. I love everything about it. I have had to tune it maybe once. I was planning on getting a Taylor 314ce but when I went to a local guitar shop I saw the Lag 66ace and played it and loved it. Then I saw the Lag T100ace and fell for it. This guitar has an extremely sturdy body and the perfect neck thickness. This guitar is wonderful for anyone

Comments about Lag Guitars T100ACE Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Being a heavy gigging professional, I own quite a few high end acoustics, so I was looking for a mid priced acoustic to play, all of my outdoor gigs (here in South Florida) and something not quite as delicate, to hold up in the water front gigs in the salt air. After researching many mid priced/level acoustics, I decided to give the LAG T100ACE a try. Was a shot in the dark, as NO music stores in South Florida carry these in house. The first thing I noticed after removing it from the box, was that there is absolutely NO weight to the guitar, I realize the guitar is constructed of bottom of the line wood, as far as quality, remember, you ALWAYS get what you pay for. IF you want more solid and better cuts of wood, buy a Taylor, Gibson or Laravie. Its plain and simple. The lack of having the weight and feel of a real solid acoustic in my hands, was expected, for a low price tag. I have played acoustics for much less in price, that felt much better in my hands.
There is really no control of the tone from the guitar, only a knob that selects between 5 factory presets, and a bass/treble mix knob. The tone plugged in, was horrible. Now, live, I am using (with my 4 peice acoustic group, a Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 going through two powered QSC K12's. I do not think there is anything else on the market, better than this PA, in it's price range and I am somewhat of an engineer, so I do know how to dial in good tone. The Shadow (StudioLAG) on board preamp, is absolutely horrible. I think, if you are a strummer doing happy hour gigs, or what ever the gig environment is, and not needing to do any Flat Picking, finger styling or soloing, this would suffice...but only that, and that alone. I would not recommend this guitar to anyone. I have played very cheap acoustics with much better tone, feel and playability than this.
Cosmetically, its a pretty guitar, but if you are a pro, the appearance is irrelevant, it's how the instrument feels, plays and sounds. It strikes out in all three categories. I have never written a negative review towards a product before, this is the first, I really feel i wasted what I paid for it, and because of who I ordered it through, they had to special order it, so there is not return or refund. Live and learn. I hope this review makes a difference. Everyone has their own opinion of how a guitar plays, sounds and feels, but ion addition, I have let almost as dozen of my musician friends play this thing, and ALL have the same opinion. HORRIBLE.

Comments about Lag Guitars T100ACE Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
held off from reviewing until i abused this guitar with a bunch of gigs. this is a great guitar, out of the box: stunning looks, had the studio lag plus electronics (not the noted "studio lag" electronics), nice action and intonation, smooth neck, no sharp frets, came with a decent gig bag (also not mentioned), been playing this guitar at some grueling, sweaty 3 hr. plus gigs, always in tune, takes 2 cheap disc batteries that i haven't had to change yet. can't say enough, supplanted my taylor 314ce as my main giging axe.
Pros
- Amazing looks
- Amazing Tone
- Relatively cheap
- Stays in tune
Cons
- Scratches Easy
Best Uses
- Fingerpicking
Comments about Lag Guitars T100ACE Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
i bought this about a year ago in seattle Washington and had to take it by car all the way to St. George Utah and I never had to tune it when i took it out. It is a beautiful guitar and sounds amazing for the price. I compared it to the same price range martin and I chose this one. It is the most underestimated brand by far. amazing workmanship and have never had a problem with it. for anyone who wants a relatively cheap amazing sounding guitar, i recommend this over most guitars of the price range.
