Comments about Lag Guitars T200ACE Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I was mistaken on a few facts in my previous review...The electronics are GOOD, and i just didn't know how to dial that good sound in yet. And It does not have a rosewood nut and saddle, it says on the Lag official website that it has a Black Graphite 43mm nut, and a Black Resin compensated saddle, with indonesian rosewood bridge...

And i must say, the sound was great when i first bought it, but now that the guitar has aged and broken in a little over a year, the Solid Red Cedar top has never sounded better! It just sounds sweeter to my ear every time i play it, and when you put some fresh Elixers on there, WATCH OUT TAYLOR! It plays very nice, and the electronics are flexible, and very nice sounding. I could not recommend this guitar more, it is the best guitar in its price range and league that i have played. I would take this baby over the Taylor 114 and 214ce all day. Fantastic job LAG.

Comments about Lag Guitars T200ACE Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I think LAG is an amazing underdog brand that is making a name for itself in acoustic guitars, and i am glad to see big name retailers getting a hold of these things, and giving them a better chance in the USA.

Now about THIS guitar: Well first off, when i picked it up for the first time, it sang to me...i was more inexperienced then I am now, but still love the sound and looks of the guitar. The low end of this guitar is pretty supurb in my opinion, the sound works well with MANY styles of music, I play all kinds of music, mostly Gospel stuff, and i thouroughly enjoy playing this guitar , hearing it ,and just the overall feel and looks of the guitar.

But a few things that didnt overly impress me were: The electronics (but you still no doubt CAN dial in a pretty great sound, it just usually tends to take away from the better acoustic sound you get unplugged), the finish gets easily smudged up with fingerprints (mainly noticable by light),so i am whiping it down very consistantly, and the high B, and E strings are CLEAR, but dont really have that SNAP to it that i (and many others) like. That is partially due to the Cedar top, and rosewood nut a bridge. I really like the cedar top, but I am considering getting bone or Tusq for the nut and bridge (and POSSIBLY bridge pins) on this guitar.

But I still love this guitar in ALOT of ways, and the pros BY FAR outnumber the cons for me...if you are considering it, I say definitly go for it! -Kyle
