Very good value on a solid body classic design!
The LE300 is a vintage styled electric in the tradition of F single coil guitars, except this comes standard with locking tuners, a Wilkinson two-post fulcrum bridge (like the American standard) and Alnico pickups..
Wow, it reminds me of the Strat Plus Deluxe guitars that Fender used to make that had all the extras for the serious guitarist.
This Laguna is really gorgeous as well, the fit and finish are great.

My friend and I decided on an impulse to try this guitar, after reading some previous good reviews. I want to say that I am simply blown away with how nice this guitar is. I would pay 3 times this amount and still be satisfied. It only took 10 minutes of very minor set up to get it playing perfectly. The finish is flawless, the neck and frets are very true, the pickups sound really good. The sound pallet is quite adequate with the HSS, combination, 5-way SS, and a push-pull for the humbucker in the bridge. The Wikinson tremolo is really well made piece of hardware. Finally, there are locking tuners, which make string changes quicker, and improves the tuning stability. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a great value in a guitar.
You simply will not get a better quality guitar for this price. Besides the finish looking beautiful, the performance matches how good it looks.

Great beginner to intermediate player on a budget... very playable, quality in woods (for tone, ssutain) and electronincs ( tone/ volume peramiters) are evfidence in lack of craftmanship/ quality of more well known manufactureres.
great trem, coil tap (not found in may guitars @ this $ point), nice locking tuners. At this price point.
stays in to ok. depending on how much trem you use/ play guitar... locking tuners help but like all guitars tuning goes out from trem. use ( vibrato & dive bombing). Going a little flat in the g string and some time a d, and highe e. is no differant than most non- double locking tromelo bridges (like floyd rose original or licenced) but price payed for virsitlity in more tuning options and ahving to tune adjust afer every song. I changed pick ups inthis from stock st symour duncans: sh 14 bridge, stk-s2b middle and stk-s2n (coresponding middle and neck positions), a tonal improvment... but like the original pick ups... ( don't know if its the pot peramiters (and wiring kit),and / or neck/ body combinations but dissapointed in overal projection of the guitar.even with hotter pick up in all positions still the guitar has sustain issues (have maple neck - hard rock maple {absorbes tone, deadends/ flatens tone/ harmonics} is a high quiality table leg but not for a guitar), but the "nail down the chalkboard" is prjection: even with hotter pick up its a quiet guitar (compaired to a jackson, prs, and two custom fender strats (spoiled by expensive guitars)... but from changeing other tha eq changed... this one is the only one have to increase the volume to compeat even with upgrading the pick ups.
great starter guitar for the price point.... good feel, tuning, playablity. but money well spent if beginner or on a budget. For those playing a while and want a guitar that is a keeper this is one that over time will be one that will one will grow out of.. I have been playing guitar for 5 yrs and drums for 22 yrs. so quality instruments are importiant. even in a 120 w (solid state amp) my drum kist not miced would over power this guitar as I have it set now.

I took a chance on this baby based on the reviews already posted. I am not disappointed. The Laguna LE300 might be the best solid-body electric guitar value out there! It's light, plays easy and looks and sounds great! (I got the Antique Rosewood version.) The pick-ups have plenty of punch. The only thing that remains to be seen is how it will hold up over time. I too have a Mexican Strat that is now jealous of my new guitar love. Get this guitar! You won't be sorry.

If you are thinking about purchasing this guitar, stop thinking about it and buy it! I would buy this guitar for twice the price on here. Very sexy look (I have the rosewood) and it feels and plays excellent! Could not be more pleased by Laguna.

This guitar has fantastic top notch materials, hardware and workmanship for such a price, rivals guitars two to three times it`s price, My only complaint is that the pick-ups has a tiny adjustment screws (like a Jewelers Phillips) but worth the price.

I own 3 guitars, an Ibanez RG3, a Stratocaster (MIM), and the LE300. All 3 are apx in the same price range. I?ve modified the Strat with Vintage Noiseless p/u?s, locking tuners, and the ?Quieting the Beast? shielding mod featured on a guitar forum web site. The Strat was on sale at a great price, but needed the mods to make it tunable, and sing with that Strat voice we all admire. Doing some math, you can see that I?ve exceeded the original price range. I use a Bugera V5. 10?s on the Strat and LE, 11?s on the RG3. I?m a big fan of the natural wood look, and the LE has it in spades. There is no pick guard as the top is shaped like a violin, high in the center. I haven?t put a pick mark on it in the two years I?ve owned it. The neck p/u on the LE gives fatter tones on the lower frets than the Strat, but 12 and up, rings right along with the Strat. The middle p/u is about the same, but with less volume and less ?chime?. The h/b is reminiscent of George Harrisons? Day Tripper riff. If I had to cut back to 1 guitar, the LE would stay. Handsome, versatile, smooth, and priced right ? it?s a winner!
