Visually sleek and sonically powerful as its inspiration

Visually, everything about the eagle is sharp, streamlined, sleek, chiseled, powerful. Symbolically, the eagle is associated with protection, guardianship, freedom, focus, vision, power and liberation.

The AME 100 is as visually sleek and sonically powerful as its inspiration. The AME100 is a perfect choice for a broad spectrum of musical styles. Make music as diverse as the population of the country for which an Eagle is the emblem.

Plugged in, the state-of-the-art B-Band preamp tuner maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of this fine instrument. The B-Band provides a 3-band EQ with volume control, built-in tuner, and phase switch to fight feedback.

Comments about Luna Guitars Americana Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (Eagle Laser Etch):

Every guitar that you pick up speaks to you in some way. Some of them only whisper faintly to you and some are more than flirty. These are the kind that invade your dreams and keep you up at night. This Luna was one of them. I played it in the store and couldn't stop thinking about it. It ate at me for weeks and finally I sold my current acoustic and bought this guitar.

I have used this guitar for everything from Campfires, daily practice and many open mics. It does well unplugged and when plugged in it sounds great but a tad bit on the bright side. It has one of the best feeling necks I have ever played and it felt like a part of me right away. Built in tuner is great and I have gotten many comments on the Eagle graphic. I don't like the bird personally but the rest of the guitar, the feel, fit and finish, and sound more than made me forget that there is a bird on it.

If this would go missing I would replace it right away with another one. Not the most expensive guitar out there, but sounds fantastic for the money. I have played a Gretsch, Yamaha, Takamine, and Daisy Rock acoustic guitars. This one is the keeper.

    Clarification and Update

Comments about Luna Guitars Americana Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (Eagle Laser Etch):

After having and playing the guitar a month I thought I should update my review. First, the frets that needed filkng were on the side above the 12th fret and NOT under any strings. The intonation is the best of any acoustic I have seen. The appointments did indded look cheap but the tuners are Grover type and seem solid and tune great. Also, the built-in tuner is more accurate thn the Snark I have. I can't play loud as I live in a small apartment but it has a wonderful sound and is solidly built. I am really enjoying this guitar and expect it to give me many years of enjoyment. I would recommend this guitar.

    Half a Spruce?

Comments about Luna Guitars Americana Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (Eagle Laser Etch):

When I think of a solid spruce top, I imagine a solid piece of wood, which this top wasn't. Also, I thought the eagle was etched in by the photo but the image is burnt into the spruce. Lastly, it states it has a gloss finish and it does, but only on the top and headstock. The sides, back and neck are all natural matte. All that said, it is a very nice looking instrument. It plays well but for a few quircks but it comes alive when amped. I couldn't turn it loud but it sounded great even through a Fender Mustang II. A little pricey for the items mentioned.
The attachments at first appear cheap
A couple of the frets could use a fine filing.
