The crescent moon on Luna's Trans-Purple Eclipse shines brightly in mother-of-pearl against a transparent purple over quilted maple sky. To complete the sky theme, Luna's logo is set against a matching headstock with satin nickel tuners while Luna's mother- of- pearl signature moon phase fret markers make their way across a slim rosewood finger board. This folk style body is our most popular profile, comfortable for most any player.
Plugged in, the state-of-the-art B-Band preamp tuner maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of this fine instrument. The B-Band provides a 3-band EQ with volume control, built-in tuner, and phase switch to fight feedback.

Comments about Luna Guitars Fauna Eclipse Folk Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I have no complaints for this guitar yet. It performs beautifully, has a great personality, and requires little maintenance. The built-in tuner is very handy and easy to use. Great guitar for someone who wants a good sound and a little personality.
The Luna Fauna Eclipse Folk Acoustic-Electric guitar feels great - it feels really natural to me. I got lucky that this was the guitar that spoke to me!
The shade of purple is somewhat darker than in the photo - and could be confused with black out of the corner of the eye depending on how the light hits it - but it is still extremely pretty. It is more a deep grape and the picture does not do it justice. You can see by the picture attached that when the light hits it, the shade is lighter, but the darker color at the bottom of the guitar is going to be what you normally see unless you have a spotlight on it often.
I was immediately impressed by the deep sound that came out of the 4th, 5th, and 6th strings! The tuner works well and the strings have done a great job of staying in tune. It came with a battery for the electronics that actually had a charge.
It's slightly smaller than a full-size guitar, and somewhat lighter, but it still has a good weight without being overly heavy.
If you are looking for a guitar with a great sound, good action, and have a love of all things purple - definitely consider this one.
Great quality. I have had zero problems with it.
As with most guitars, you get what you pay for. It's a little on the pricey side for a beginner, but I suggest getting the most expensive one you can afford. You will be able to tell a difference. This one is great for the price.
